Parga's distillery is famous since 1894. Nowadays the fourth generation is maintaining with love the same tradition. At Parga's distillery one can taste our ouzo together with traditional Greek meze and our liqueurs at Amicos Bar.
This is a long uphill walk to get to but well worth the effort. Aside from standard cocktails there is an ouzo based cocktail list - we tried several over our three visits and all were amazingly good. The view across Valtos is fantastic and a great spot to see the sunset over the hillside. The menu is varied and we ate various fress seafood dishes - the grilled prawns are excellent. Other dishes that were not on the menu but available from the days catch were fresh Grouper and a marvellous seafood soup. I highly recommend this for both cocktails and food. It was a little more expensive than some other places we ate but well worth it. You can avoid the long uphill walk by taking a cab to Bar Med and walking down the road for about 2 minutes.

Has an amazing view that you can see whole Parga. Staff was friendly, have good cocktails and also snacks near to. Prices are decent. If you would like to chill and have some good cocktails after a tiring beach day this place is strongly recommended.

Oh what a day, I booked a day trip which, went from the harbour at 10am We sailed up along the little beaches until we join the river estuary and sailed up into it, taking in the beautiful scenery with swallows, swifts and house martins flying high and low across the river, just taking a dive and skimming the river surface for a well needed drink. It was beautiful to watch as I sat at the front of the boat taking dozens of photos. We then headed back out to sea and carried on along the coast to a cave where the captain steered the boat into it. A few tourists on the boat dived in and swam in the clear blue water. I couldn’t resist either and found it refreshing and quiet mentally moving too! We then headed to a little beach for lunch and swimming, the captain said “ be really for 5pm as we will head back home”. True to Greek time, the captain returned at 6pm! So typical of Greece! We entered the port just as the sun was setting, an amazing day enjoyed by all.

We visited the castle just before the sunset and the scenery was amazing! You can have the best view of Parga from the castle. There is also a cafe bar where you can enjoy your drink gazing Parga

A great beach, with pine trees up to waves! You can try snorkeling, go to the adjacent beach on the right (north) and at the islet in the middle of the beach. Definitely a go! The road is paved and you should follow the signs after Ammoudia (if you go to the south). Do not use google maps.

As part of our trip to the water mill we arrived here first, the guide was very knowledgeable, just enough info to make vist informative but not boring or uninteresting enough time given to look round take photos and admire the views on the edge. Good trip would encourage you to do the trip and see some of the resort away from the busy beachfront

The best beach in Parga. Accessed by water taxi, a good walk or by car. It has everything you may need from a beach. Life Guards to “Luxury Sunbathing”. We tried all the local beach’s & Valtos was by far the best. Lichnos is also very good with a good bar & services also. Sarakiniko is ok, but small & again popular. Whilst Valtos is the largest & most popular it didn’t spoil our time there. Tango Bar was very good for lunch & a beer, as is the Parga Beach Hotel they even serve “Stella Artois” if you fancy a change from Mythos. If you require luxurious sunbathing, then go to the far end on the left as you arrive by water taxi, Cape North West has a great bar area & luxury sun beds with complimentary chilled water & chilled fruit on your arrival.
