We came here as a family of adults back in September☺️ Paul made my booking, answered all my questions and put me at ease!!! An easy and efficient process. We booked segways, and you have to arrive around 15 mins before to fill in paperwork and then the fun begins???? Very covid safe.. but despite coronavirus, this was one of the highlights of our holiday☺️ stepping onto the Segway for the first time was a little scary, but Davs was fun, positive, and reassuring and gave us the best possible experience!! Our mum was the most nervous but actually turned out to be the best at it☺️ We formed a team of the ‘curly wurlys’ and played games against another group. It was fantastic!!!!!!! Honestly can’t recommend this place enough, if only we lived closer we would definitely come back again!! Would recommend this experience to everyone.. despite having been home from our holiday for a while, we’re still talking about our Segway experience???? Thank you so much guys☺️

What a beautiful place of earth this is! remote and clean and yet close to all amenities of the hustling and bustling little town of Pwllheli! Here you find both - blue flag beaches, excellent sailing waters, peace and quiet, family fun AND all this only a stroll away from shops and hospitality. What a fabulous experience!

Porthor Beach (Whistling Sands)

Reviewed By 356manfredb - Telford, United Kingdom

We travelled to Porth Oer to see the Whistling Sands Beach which we learnt about from watching a TV programme. Althought the short walk from the National Trust Car Park is quite steep it is well worth to see the Whislting Beach with its rugged Coastline. Unfortunately we were unable to witness the "whistling effect" as ther was a very strong wind which drowned out most noises. There are also Coastal Paths which can be taken along the Coast, however we did not do so on this occasion. Well worth a Visit if in the Area!

Criccieth Castle

Advance booking required Spectacular coastal castle built – and destroyed – by powerful Welsh princes Criccieth is truly a castle to capture the imagination. Crowning its own rocky headland between two beaches it commands astonishing views over the town and across the wide sweep of Cardigan Bay. No wonder Turner felt moved to paint it. By then it was a picturesque ruin – destroyed by one of Wales’s most powerful medieval princes, Owain Glyndŵr.

Worth the £5.60 entry fee per adult. Interesting info display before you visit the castle. Well keep grounds. Amazing views from the top... plenty of seating for peaceful relaxation.

With over 13 things to do, there’s fun to be had, whatever the weather, at Glasfryn Parc on the Llyn Peninsula. Race around the flood-lit Go-Kart Circuits, practice your aim at Clay Pigeon Shooting, Archery or Crazy Golf. Our beautiful lakes are home to an Aqua Park where you can learn to Wakeboard, with qualified instructors, or if you’re an experienced wakeboarder, challenge yourself on the many obstacles. Adrenaline seekers should head for the tower and leap onto ‘The Blob’, sending your friends flying through the air into the lake. Or, if you’re after a more relaxing water sport, why not take in the stunning mountain views on our kayaks or SUP’s Glasfryn Parc. A day’s family fun, whatever the weather. . Parking and entry are free. Glasfryn is open from 9.30 am every day of the year (apart from Christmas Day).

We visited Glasfryn Parc today and did clay pigeon shooting followed by archery. The extremely lovely gentleman who gave great help and instruction to myself and my husband was fantastic and made sure we were safe and above all had great fun and a great experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our first time at shooting and would like to thank him for his time and kindness. We also enjoyed the archery. There are many different sports and games to take part in and enjoy here and we would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area.
