John F. Kenneday Boulevard East connects Weehawken, West New York, Guttenberg and North Bergen, New Jersey.
We walk along the bouleward almost daily. The walk is really enjoyable both during day time and evenings. The walk in recent days - November 2nd week is more enjoyable during the noons when tje Sun is shining. On any day evening walks give a chance to have glimpse of lit skylines of New York which is fascinating.

This view never gets old. We only get to visit here every couple years but visitors that come to NYC never get to see this spectacular view of the city from Hoboken. After a great meal in Hoboken, this was a great walk to end a wonderful evening. The city of Hoboken has done a great job with this river walk.

White Eagle Hall is a newly restored and renovated historic theater located in the thriving nightlife scene of Downtown Jersey City, New Jersey. White Eagle Hall presents live music, theatre, comedy, dance, film, family shows as well as other performances while serving food and drinks. In addition, White Eagle Hall is a warm and intimate event space perfect for weddings, receptions, private parties.
The history alone drew me in... a place where Sinatra sang in the 40s and St Anthony's HS won basketball state championships - now beautifully renovated with a great sound system. I loved the size - roomy enough but very intimate. Great restaurants downstairs.

This is where in 1804, Aaron Burr killed Alexander Hamilton.
Hamilton Park has the most breathtaking views of Manhattan. Additionally there is a little monument for the Alexander Hamilton - Aaron Burr duel. The actual dueling ground would have been somewhere in the trees below the cliff, so largely inaccessible. It’s beautiful and somber to consider the lives lost here (since it was home to more duels than just this famous one). We took the ferry across from the city and then took an Uber to the park. Walking to the park is not impossible, but it’s not easy and mostly uphill, making it difficult for my travel companion.

Branch Brook Park is a great place to relax on the beautiful grass or a quiet walk around the park on the new rubberized walkways. Its a great place for one to meditate on life while gazing at the beautiful trees to absorb all that nature has to offer. Its a place where I go to let go of the past and regroup to continue moving forward. Whether your alone, with love ones, or just friends, Branch brook Park offers a unique experience for all to enjoy.

We stopped by for a quick visit before checking in to our hotel. All I can say is WOW! If you want a great view of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty without the crowds and craziness, you need to stop here. This would be a perfect picnic spot during warmer months!

Whether you love American history, technology, art/design, or just seeing fascinating STUFF, you'll love walking around the Edison laboratory. From the cubbyholes stuffed with papers in his rolltop desk in the gorgeous library, to the mind-boggling machinery, to the music room with a working cylinder-playing phonograph, you get a sense of this driven personality who created modern America. One of the best historical sites.
