We even provide tuition in all those skills for all ages. Alongside the lake there is a cafe with veranda for you to enjoy the water sports while having some light refreshment. We lock you up in a mysterious escape room, and give you exactly 60 minutes to get out. Do you have what it takes to escape? Designed for groups of 2 - 5, we have 6 rooms each with unique puzzles and challenges but the same ultimate goal of escaping within 1 hour.
A perfect family trip (although the kids are now in their 20s)! Very friendly staff and great puzzles. This was our second visit and both are to be recommended (we previously completed the Sherlock Holmes themed room ????????♂️ ). I don’t doubt that we’ll return again. Thanks to all the staff who made it a fun, friendly experience.

Take The Exit is the creepiest Escape Room based in the Old Town area of Hull. We are proud to be an independent family run business with uniquely created rooms that will spook your soul, ignite your imagination and will bring together friends, family and colleagues. Will you be able to escape and Take The Exit within the time limit?
We've just completed the magic box at home and it was PHENOMENAL! Matthew has created an amazing home escape room which was just as brilliant as the real escapes he has. The magical themed box was challenging and fun with a suggestion given of music to play to enhance your experience at home! The look of the box and challenges are just as good as the rooms he has on offer. Think Harry Potter throughout! We are already looking at booking out his space style box in the next few weeks! If you want an escape room at home, this is the place to get it! Thank you Take The Exit!

Beverley's first independent Escape Room! You and your team are locked in: can you solve the clues and escape in 60 minutes?
Having previously attempted the autopsy room and thoroughly enjoyed it, a group of friends and I thought we would have another go this time we 'went down the rabbit hole'. What a great experience! Very well designed and excellent props. A great challenge but the very helpful staff are always on hand to give a little hint or tip if needed. Hugely recommend to anyone up for a good laugh, a challenge or a team building exercise. We're already planning another visit to attempt the 'Yorkshire Express' room.

A visit to Beverley Racecourse is a seriously good day out, a fact that the people of Beverley have been quite rightly proud of for over 300 years. Set in the stunning surroundings of The Westwood, the racecourse hosts horse racing between April and September every year. We have 19 race meetings in total, 11 of which feature extra entertainment and fun, from the family-themed May Day with a petting zoo and funfair rides to the glamour of Ladies' Day. For the racing fan, our Very British Raceday in June with its two feature races for the country's best two-year-old horses sees them battle it out in a fast and furious contest up our infamous uphill 5 furlong sprint (a furlong being about 660 feet for the as-yet uninititated.) There's always a warm welcome at Beverley, and whether you prefer to bring the family with a picnic and a rug or your friends for an afternoon of fun and catching up, you'll find lots of like-minded people enjoying the day and the excitement of watching your horse thundering home. Tickets in advance are much the cheapest way to visit and can be bought via our website, along with lots more information about all of our racedays. Rock Up is the thrilling indoor climbing adventure for all ages. 26 fantastic climbing walls towering over 8m with multiple routes to their peaks. Check out the Stairway to Heaven or the awesome Vertical Drop Slide and many more. Plus we have a fabulous soft play area and also an onsite cafe offering delicious food and snacks. MOUNTAINS OF FUN FOR ALL. Novice to expert. Climb from 4+, no experience needed. Great for birthday parties and community groups such as schools, scouts, guides, home education, cadets, sports teams and many more.
We visited here just 2 days ago for the first time, for our daughters birthday trip, with her 2 best friends, and we all really enjoyed it. It’s not a big place but quality rather than quantity is important here! This kept it to a pleasant atmosphere. There were lots of different climbing areas, all in various vivid colours and the girls went on all of them, about 15 or so. The time allowed is 1 hour. We paid extra for them all to go on the Vertical Drop slide (£3 each) and they had 2 attempts each. The little cafe is very good, reasonable prices and the whole area was clean and spacious. The cost for the girls (under 16) including the VDS was £44 approx, very reasonable for a birthday trip idea. Last but definitely not least, the young team that worked there were all so friendly and professional. We were very late due to heavy roadworks and traffic jam coming into the city centre....stuck for 1 and a half hours....and they were great in accommodating us re our scheduled time slot...hardly any waiting when we got there. Well done to you all on running a very successful business!
