We got the English audio guide at the entry – this was a really good museum. Some of the displays were really immersive and of course the big panorama up the top. Must-see when in Volgograd, I really enjoyed it. The exhibits were great and I learnt a lot about the town's history in the Battle of Stalingrad.

The historic fortress dating back to the 16th to 19th centuries.
Kazan Kremlin, an amazing historical place, on the banks of the Volga River. the walls and towers of the Kremlin are very well preserved. The Kremlin itself in architecture is very similar to the Pskov Kremlin. Also white towers and walls, also round towers. I liked the building very much. It was in winter, a cold wind was blowing from the river, it was -23 Celsius, snow was falling, so we moved from museum to museum. On the territory of the Kremlin, there is a museum of the history of this break off and the emergence of the Kazan Khanate in the beginning, and so on. I recommend to visit those who are fond of history, like me).

From my point of view, the most interesting place is in the Yaroslavl region. I would especially like to thank the guide Irina for a very interesting two-hour excursion.

This may be a new mosque compared to others around the world but it's still beautiful. Took photos day and night. The interior is also impressive and its good to spend some quiet time in there when prayers are beung held. One of the symbols of kazan .

The Mordovian Republic Fine Arts Museum named after S.D. Erzia is one of the dynamically developing cultural and educational centres of the Republic of Mordovia, the Volga Region and Russia. The museum collection is based upon the sculptures by Stepan Erzia, a world-known artist, the pictures by Fedot Sychkov, a remarkable painter, Ilya Repin's pupil, the collection of Russian art of the 19th and the 20th centuries, the works of modern artists, folk and applied arts. Despite a comparatively short term of its existence in the cultural area of Russia, the museum already has much experience in organizing regional, state and international art exhibitions. The museum, being an integral part of the world cultural area, takes a lively interest in new creative and constructive contacts and in the ways of organizing the art exhibitions, symposiums and other cultural events connected not only with the fine arts, but also with history, literature, ethnography etc. The scientific and creative potential of the Mordovian Fine Arts Museum makes it possible to develop the museum work successfully within the context of the European cultural values. It serves the development of integration processes, because Culture and Art are the two great forces connecting people of different cultural and religious traditions.
