A very professional staff took us in, explained the rules, and answered any questions! A very dark escape room, but not too dark! With a haunted theme, scary music and noises. It had both complex, surprising, and interesting puzzles, that sometimes required real teamwork! It was an exciting and thrilling experience, that in my taste could have been just a little bit more scary! But I will not subtract a star for that, as I myself is quite hardened when it comes to scary stuff! Great work Escape Room Kristiansand, I will definitely come back, and recommend you to anyone visiting Kristiansand! :D

Few places have this kind of a truly amazing experience. The service is excellent. The course is not to long, nor to short. Great variety in obstacles and challenges, making the entire experience great. A new consept with 3D glasses and neon lights that makes the mini-golf all that more enjoyable. Clean well kept environment and easily combined with food and drinks that is sold at the front desk. And a great lounge area to chill in between or after. This is a must to experience! Fits couples, friendgroups, first dates, families with young or older children and I would say almost all other people

ARKIVET Peace and Human Rights Centre

ARKIVET Peace and Human Rights Centre is an education and documentation centre based in Kristiansand in the southern part of Norway. During the Second World War the building was the headquarters of Gestapo in southern Norway. Today ARKIVET studies how the retelling of our local history from World War II can help create attitudes, knowledge, and understanding in order to secure the basis for peace and democracy. The history from ARKIVET is conveyed through our permanent exhibition, temporary and virtual exhibitions.

Reviewed By Timski4u - Plymouth, United Kingdom

The building used to be an archive and was then used by the Gestapo as a centre for torture and investigation. The relatively long tour was led by a very passionate, knowledgeable Norwegian who took time to explain in minute detail the role of the Resistance and the costs they paid. The items on display and the documents bring home the true horror of the years of occupation and the close collaboration between Norway and Britain through those difficult years, including reference to Churchill's Secret Airfield that supplied the Resistance. Remarkably informative and moving experience.
