As like all the churches in Russia, this one is beautifully maintained. It is very pretty in the winter with the blue contrasting against the white snow.

December 14, 1938 the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre opened its doors for the audience. During the first two years of work it presented 13 premiers and welcomed about half a million spectators. The opera and ballet scene saw rapid development. The talented artists came to the theatre, a repertoire was enlarged, and cooperation with the prominent musical theatre figures began. Today the theatre plays a significant role in Russian culture.
