As a beachside retreat, Tybee Island brings together old and new – clapboard cottages and Bermuda- precisely that soft blend of natural marshes and Atlantic shoreline, modest history and seaside playground that makes Tybee a celebrated family vacation destination. At the south end of the island, the pier and pavilion stretches into the Atlantic, tempting people watchers and fishermen intent on capturing the ‘fish story’ catch of the day. And the authentically refurbished lighthouse and five-acre grounds and outbuildings remind us of her role in guiding mariners to the Savannah River for nearly 300 years. It is precisely that soft blend of natural marshes and Atlantic shoreline, modest history and seaside playground that makes Tybee a celebrated family vacation destination.Locals can’t compete with crimson sunsets, wading herons or silky sand dunes; but they roll out dining hospitality, shopping convenience and fun modes of transportation. You’ll want to join the line-up at The Breakfast Club for mouth-watering omelets and southern grits. Wander to shops and galleries, along the marshes and shoreline in a fun, open air Tybee Cruiser. They’re eco-friendly, electric transportation to liven your tour around the island– but be sure to make a reservation. Tybee Island's only massage and spa practice where you don't just get another massage, but an experience with five-star service and treatment with Tybee Island prices.
I received the "Silent Treatment" massage by Debbe. This is a Swedish style massage that begins with a cool moonstone face massage using organic rose hip oil followed by an invigorating eucalyptus head massage. Perfection! Debbe is highly skilled and is an exceptional therapist. The moonstone massage was unlike anything I have experienced, so very calming and soothing. I highly recommend Debbe and Tybee Beach Massage, it was a wonderful experience. My husband received a Swedish massage by Sage who is also a wonderful therapist. Sage made sure that any concerns were addressed and gave a thoroughly relaxing and well done massage. We highly recommend Tybee Beach Massage as a professional and comfortable location to go for a massage.

Tybee Island's New Escape Room - Come solve our 60-minute thrilling indoor game. Our creative and original games are great for groups of all ages. We are family-friendly -so bring the kids and the grandparents - everyone can participate and enjoy the challenge! We also serve snacks, sodas, beer, and wine which you can take with you into the game. Our 2 original themes are based on historical events that really happened here on Tybee. Our Pirate Theme is based on Blackbeard sailing these waters and shanghaiing unwilling people to help run his ship. But if a pirate life is not for you, you do have a chance to escape. Can you solve all of Blackbeard's clever puzzles in time? Our Tybee Bomb theme is based on the fact that in 1958 a 7600 lb hydrogen bomb was accidentally dropped in the water off the south end of Tybee Island. The bomb was not armed but has been found by this crazy guy and he's probably arming it right now. Your mission, as the Tybee Bomb Squad, is to disarm the bomb.

TS CHU's has been here for a long time and anytime I have been to Tybee over the years, we always visit CHU's. Great store with many things to see and buy and browse. My children loved this store as much as I did when I was their age. We always liked going in here as part of our Tybee Vacations over the years. Staff are usually friendly and helpful. Some of the prices are HIGH because it is a beach store BUT youcan find some neat things and sometimes even some things on sale, especially during different seasons.

Historic performing arts and movie venue presenting live music, comedy and theatrical performances, as well as first-run, classic and family friendly movies. Owned and operated by the non-profit Friends of the Tybee Theater, this landmark building is set in the heart of the Fort Screven Historic District on Tybee Island.
One of my favorite musicians and his band were sceduled to play at Tybee Post Theater on August 3rd so I had to go. Randall Bramblett is an amazing talent that I have been following for thirty plus years and never fails to please. I had never been to Tybee Post Theater but thought I would like their intimate venue of 206 seats with a classic theater look. It was everything I expected and more. We had great seats, 3rd row on the aisle. The acoustics were incredible and the crowd was very appreciative of the show. They also show movies on a regular basis, I am on their mailing list and hope to see more live music there when an act that I like comes to town. I am not very far away in Charleston S.C.

My son was dying to see a sea turtle so, we brought him here knowing they had a rescue here. The center is small but, packed full of information. This is not an aquarium; the goal is to rehabilitate and release back into the wild. The staff memners were fantastic and answered all of my son's 101 questions so I think he learned a ton of information on sea life and that alone was worth the 5.00 admission fee. Of course, the sea turtle, was the amazing star of the show for us but, the touch tank was my daughter's favorite and I just loved all the baby terrapin.

Came here to unwind our first night on the beach. Being off season they weren’t that busy but we did go in on a Thursday night. They have some sort of game called bumper pool I believe and the locals were showing us how to play. It was just really relaxing and calm and the people there were really friendly ! Drinks were real good too !
