We went to Sunday mass as tourists. We were amazed at the church and friendliness of the parishioners. The service was beautiful. I was happy to put money in the collection basket.

Williamson Orchards and Vineyards is located along the Sunnyslope Wine Trail within the Snake River Valley AVA. The Williamson family has been growing fruit here for four generations. By relying on our long-history and knowledge of the region we designed our vineyard to maximize the terroir of our high dessert location with the goal of producing stunning wines from high quality grapes. A great deal of time and thought went into the planting of our vines. From vineyard layout to the selection of grape varieties we wanted to ensure that our site would produce superior grapes. Our forethought, planning and hard work has paid off. Our wines have won countless awards and are recognized across the region for quality. We now have over 50 acres in vineyards, 8 varieties and 14 award winning wines. Visit our tasting room to experience some of the great wine being produced in Idaho. Expect a welcoming atmosphere steeped in old-fashioned, farm-charm along with honest and knowledgeable service.

My daughter (14) and I had an absolute blast making glasses on our visit to Boise! It was such a unique and fun experience to add to our trip. Austin was a great instructor and helped us each make a glass that we love! Best souvenir ever! Megan was a champ to get us in for a class on short notice!

Our favorite winery, when visiting Caldwell area. First, they were the only winery that didn't charge us for a tasting, and therefore we bought several bottles of wine from them. We liked their wines and the young man (sorry - can't remember his name; but see attached picture) that attended to us was very friendly and knowledgeable about the company and their wines. I appreciated their concern regarding the Covid issue, in keeping us safe. Would highly recommend visiting this Winery. PS: Call ahead - reservations are recommended.

We did the Wizarding Room and had a blast. Jhase was the host, and he was awesome and super helpful. There were two of us, and we literally got down to the last two minutes. We found it challenging, in a good way, and definitely plan to come back to check out the Jungle Room.

Serving as a testimony to the life and work of American artist, James Castle and rooted in Castle’s sense of wonder and discovery, the house today is a center for contemporary and historical exhibits, tours, performances, talks, an Artist-in-Residence program, and community partnerships. Both the historic buildings and the new wing invite you to explore the spaces unique only to James Castle.
The James Castle House has many layers. The tours and gallery experience provide information about James Castle’s life and home. The artist in residence space is a way for artists to connect with the space and the public in a different way and the general store has nostalgic pieces similar to items that James Castle had along with contemporary items that relate to the place.

Contains exhibits and collections that provide a look at the Basque heritage, history and culture.
After visiting the museum and learning about the history and rich culture of the Basques in Idaho, check out the boarding house next to the museum. I hope you get to see the 3D photos--so cool! Go to the restaurant across the street for delicious paella too.
