Situated in the central square of the village, it is one of most impressive churches I have visited. Its temple is dedicated to Pammegisti Archangels, while its style is three-aisled basilica. The frescoes are wonderful and also extraordinary (for instance you can see the zodiac circle) and have various styles. During its construction, special techniques had been used that strengthen the sounds, so the experience of attending the Mass or occasionally a concert of religious music is unique.

A simple AMAZING musuem, an ode to Greece. A visit will help you either learn or recognise critical items from different centuries of Greek education. Learn about Greek education, Greek toys and childhood through decades or centuries, see how books have been implemented (or not!!!) from last century and get a reminder of Aesop’s tales. Play with children's toys of the previous century and see how schoolchildren were "educated" through 19th and 20th century. The stuff is extremely helpful, we have been offered a detailed and interesting tour that lasted more than an hour. We felt very lucky that we have the chance to find and visit a true diamond like this. Be sure that you don't miss it if you visit Meteora!

Unique Handmade creations. Byzantine religious paintings.Handmade gifts. An art place worth visiting.
I was passing by and saw cheap magnets outside. After wondering into the shop I met the wonderful and remarkably talented owner. Well worth a visit, she put a smile on my face and it was so nice to have a conversation about her work. The art work, paintings, pictures she has made are beautiful.

The Museum is housed in the old Rooftile and Brickworks Factory of Nikolaos and Spyridon Tsalapatas, in Volos (Thessaly). It presents daily life in the factory, as well as all the production stages of different types of bricks and tiles. Its objective is to showcase the historical identity of the town of Volos and to contribute to the preservation and promotion of its industrial heritage. The N. & S. Tsalapatas Rooftile and Brickworks Factory was one of the largest of its kind. Its workshops and industrial facilities have been restored and today constitute a rare surviving example of an industrial complex in Greece.
