Tiny Skiathos is packed with pine forests, archaeological ruins, and—most importantly—beaches. Shed your inhibitions at the nudist Banana Beach or have a more modest sun session at Koukounaries, which is peppered with lively cafes. Sail around on a chartered catamaran, hike to the dramatic medieval ruins of Kastro and tap into your spiritual side at one of Skiathos many monasteries.

When we first visited Skiathos 3 years ago we noticed their "What's On" board on PapaD Street, being Northern Soul fans we chose that night to go.. We enjoyed it so much we went back quite a few times & have carried on every year since! Phed's a great barman, ably assisted by Harry, plus he's a great chap who makes really great cocktails!! There's music nights on different nights for different tastes, including live music ???? If you like your sport there's always plenty of that on too (football, F1, rugby etc) on several screens. Try this bar... You'll like it ????

Eleni Papapanagiotaki, having a diploma in manufacturing handmade jewels, continues the family tradition in the jewelry shop in Skiathos island, combining classic jewels with modern design in gold or silver with precious and semi-precious stones. Hi people, welcome to Danny & Zoe's live music home in lovely Skiathos island! Cool cocktails and tunes by the music duo Danny & Zoe and of course, the most beautiful blind dog around the bar, Guy!
The most important thing about finding Danny and Zoes Blind Dog is finding it... Unlike most bars and places to eat in Skiathos its actually upstairs on the first floor above a shop unit on the main Papadiamanti Street. At the crossroads you will see an entrance on a side street with a staircase that goes straight up to it (blink and you will mis it!) However, its well worth finding. Danny and Zoe put on a great show of live music that went on until the early hours which completed what was our last night in Skiathos. A special guest joined them halfway through who was also phenomenal. As we left in the early hours Zoe still found time to wave us goodnight even though she was halfway through performing! A special mention to the unsung hero who was the young lady waiting the tables for drinks. In the times of COVID and face coverings she had excellent communication skills and never let anyone in the venue go dry, despite having to duck and dive all night! Its rare you find such amazing service! If you've ate out for the evening its definitely worth a visit no matter how large/small or the age of your group. Everyone is welcome. Things kick off around 10pm.

The Blue House Art Gallery was created having as dream the harmonious coexistence of tradition and modern art.Designing jewellery with a distinct identity that reflects the respect and the sensitivity towards Greek art. The materials that are used are silver and gold which are decorated with precious or semiprecious stones. Vasilis and Areti with designers from all over Greece will be there to offer you harmony and elegance.
If you love jewellery with a twist or want a special one off piece you really should not leave Skiathos without visiting lovely Areti at the Blue House Art Gallery. Areti will show you many pieces with no pressure to buy. Beautiful stones

This is a must see in Skiathos. Amazing collection of personal family effects over 5 generations and the family have done a fantastic job in turning their ancestral home into a living museum. A really lovely family, and great value for money at €2 entry.

I visited the monastery on a very wet September day. The road to it, which terminates at the monastery was surfaced, but was of very poor quality in places. The attractive church is surrounded by other buildings including a library, chapel and museum. Highlights for me included the vast bread oven downstairs in the museum, the row of large glass vessels containing fruit liquors and the many friendly cats. The museum would be improved if there were descriptions in english - it contained many documents and photos sbout the Greek War of Independence and religious regalia. The view down to the sea from the carpark would have been magnificent on a sunny day.
