Thai Serenity & Soul

It was my first time having a session in this establishment and it was a wonderful experience form the begging to the end in a very well decorated and warm place. I was having a Deep tissue massage of 90 minutes and it was an excellent election. Before starting the session they take note of your basic health background and preferences. They offer you a coup of tea before and after the session. No rush. Highly advise to arrive between 10 to 15 minutes in advance. The therapist introduces herself before the session and you are able to ask questions and she is happy to listen and explain different options to you. My therapist was Ann and she was lovely. She has an amazing powerful hands, elbows, forearms and knees, full of energy and warmness. She adapts the intensity of its pressure to the different parts of your body pending on your muscle needs from the beginning to the end. She was definitely able to bring a touch of Thailand to my body and soul.

This market hall was recommended to us by the proprietor of our B&B and she was right to do so. A very interesting collection of independent market stall offering produce from your standard fruit and veg , Asian and Indian street food and plenty of different arts and crafts stalls. All undercover over two floors it was interesting to wander here for a while.

Love all the products I've had from here. The owners are very helpful and obliging. The delivery service has been excellent even since lockdown. Today I have opened my recently purchased Tea Tree and Neem hand wash and as described hands felt really clean and soft. I cannot live without the foot soak. My best wishes for their future in this difficult time. They can be certain of my continuing custom.

Received as a Christmas gift I didn’t know what to expect. Gary was welcoming and made everyone feel at ease. Going into enough details about the various wines he had chosen and matching them with complementing charcuterie (seems so obvious that charcuterie from the same region/country goes best with the wine) we tasted 6 wines learning about the nuances of the regions, grapes and what makes a good year. A great introduction to the Shropshire Wine School and will definitely attend events in the future and recommend them to friends.

Although ‘locals’ we had never visited the museum before so decided to go today before the end of the Lego exhibition currently displaying in the museum. One off entrance fee of £4.50 per adult (you can buy a yearly pass if you wish for £25 if memory serves me correctly). Lego exhibition was good depicting various moments in history. The museum itself takes you through time from Iron Age through to Tudor times and a section focusing on when the Roman’s were in occupancy. Some interesting exhibits and loved seeing the old paintings/mockups of how Shrewsbury and the surrounding areas looked back in time. We spent around 1 1/2 hours there (although you could spend longer) and enjoyed our visit. Also the staff were friendly and welcoming. We also ate in the ‘Stop’ cafe which although not cheap did serve very nice coffee and cakes, gluten free option of orange and chocolate polenta for my wife and coffee cake for me. Well worth a visit if you want to find out more of the history of Shrewsbury.
