This holy stone is the eastern cornerstone of the Kaaba, the ancient stone building towards which all Muslims pray. Many Muslims believe that the stone (originally white but now black from absorbing the sins of man) fell from heaven during the time of Adam and Eve.
The Black Stone, al-Ḥajaru al-Aswad, "Black Stone") is a rock set into the eastern corner of the Kaaba, in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is revered by Muslims as an Islamic relic which, according to Muslim tradition, dates back to the time of Adam and Eve. The Black Stone was originally a single piece of rock. It is surrounded by a silver frame which is fastened by silver nails to the Kaaba's outer wall. Polished smooth by the hands of pilgrims. Islamic tradition holds that it fell from heaven . Muslim pilgrims circle the Kaaba as a part of the tawaf ritual during the hajj and many try to stop and kiss the Black Stone, emulating the kiss that Islamic tradition records that it received from Muhammad.[SAW] Muslims do not worship the Black Stone.

One more the historically important mosque in the Islamic world. Masjid Al Qiblatayn is the oldest and beautiful mosque in Madinah, Mosque of the two Qibla's. After Prophet Mohammed had received the command to change the Qiblah, the direction had been changed from Al Aksa mosque to Holy Kaaba in Mecca. Must visit place and pray two rekat salla.

When Prophet Muhammad (Peace & Blessings be upon him) migrated from Makkah to Madinah , Quba is the place on the outskirts of Madinah where the Prophet (Peace & blessings be upon him), accompanied by Sayedina Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived and first stayed and built the first Masjid of Islam. My first visit to this historical Masjid was in 1982.It was small but had its own reverence and awe.In my recent visit in February 2019,I found a new Masjid has been constructed which is much bigger than the original one and is reasonably impressive. An authentic Hadith states that who ever offers two rakahs of voluntary prayers in this Masjid, he gets a reward equal to one Umrah.I was lucky enough this time that I not only offered many voluntary prayers but got the privilege of offering Duhr in congelation. The Masjid was almost full including its court yard. The expansion is impressive but wash rooms are very substandard and very poorly maintained. They need to be upgraded and maintained properly. It also needs a proper eating place to be provided to enable pilgrims spend more time in this Historical Place.

Located a few meters away from the Holy Kaaba these are the two small hills named Safa and Marwa and all are within the Masjid Al Haram. The distance between the two hills is approximately 450 meter within which Muslim pilgrims perform Sai during Hajj and Umrah. There are multiple floors to perform Sai and the total area is fully air conditioned. There is a dedicated floor for those who are using wheel chairs. One have to run seven times in between starting from Safa which takes approximately one hour.

This is definitely the biggest Mosque in Riyadh and probably most frequented for funeral prayers. It had a parking area and a few shops for charity organizations.

Very well organized. Information is very detailed. I had always wanted my kids to explore Astronomy and they were totally amazed by the displays and vast information on the universe and time exhibits. But off course, the highlight was the most stunning view of the Holy Kaabah and surrounding areas. Well done!
