Rock Hill, the largest city in South Carolina's York County, is a charming college town, with the campus of Winthrop University making up one of its five historic districts. The surrounding area of York County is home to the Carowinds amusement park, an entertainment destination so large that it spans two states. We took a friend who was visiting from Florida for an afternoon diversion. We had a wonderful time - the owner/vintner John couldn't be any nicer and more accommodating. He imports juice from around the globe and puts his own spin on lovely vintages like Cabernet Sauvignon, Valpolicella and Chardonnay. The most amazing wine was a Sangiovese with cayenne pepper - we loved it! Spent a leisurely hour or so - got a glass after the tastings (you get to keep the cool etched glass). This will be a must-visit for all of our future guests from out of town!!

I had such a lovely massage and facial today at Pure Escape. Jessica and Michele the owner were both so sweet when I first walked in this morning for the first time. Michele even worked me into her schedule today so I could also get a facial along with my massage. My facial was so refreshing and I got some great skin care tips and PCA skin products to help with my acne while I was there. Charla was the one who did my massage today and she has some magical hands! I was practically almost asleep while she worked out all the knots I had in my back, it was that relaxing. She was such a kind lady to be around and very helpful when I asked her questions about different types of massages. I would definitely recommend this place of business for any massage or facial needs you may have or be looking for :)

Our actual visit date was Feb 2020. It was me and my 8 ur old nephew. We had a blast! For a tiny little county museum it has a lot of stuff. It’s a great place to spend the afternoon.

The Main Street Children’s Museum suffered extensive water damage when a main sprinkler line ruptured in a privately-owned space above the museum area. Unfortunately, very little of the interior - including the exhibits - may be salvaged. Our team is working diligently to bring this spectacular space back to life. Please know that it is near and dear to our hearts and we miss its special ambiance. Please visit us at the Museum of York County, located at 4621 Mt. Gallant Road where the children’s museum staff are providing regular programs, along with additional special experiences. Our smallest members may continue to enjoy interactive fun in an expanded early learning space at this location. As additional information is available, we will update our website and social media.

Take my 45 year old Grandson at least a couple times a month. He loves all the activities there. There is nothing better than a free place for kids to play safely.

Very nice bowling alley! The staff are very friendly, the place is clean and the food was good. We went on a Saturday afternoon with the kids and had a great time, wasn’t crazy busy and was able to use a Groupon offer as long as we were there before 5pm. We will definitely go back!

Boutique Craft Brewery downtown in a converted historic building with great open atmosphere and seating in the middle of the brew tanks themselves. Served directly out of the 200 gallon tanks, it’s the freshest beer you have ever had. Specializing in traditional American, German, and Belgian styles, the brewery won 5 awards at their first state-level competition after only having the doors open 6 months. And if you are hungry, they have partnered with Millstone Wood-fired Pizza, Salads, Sandwiches, deserts and more, available directly at your table in the brewery.
Guys this micro brewery is the bomb! Love the flavors and the small humble staff. Brewer Jarrod is killing it, seriously good IPAs boys!!! Connected to a really scrummy pizza joint called Millstone!
