This was the first time I got my hair cut since lockdown, the staff were very professional and the salon had put social distancing measures in place which made me feel safe and comfortable. Abii cut and styled my hair, she was very friendly and approachable and did an excellent job. I am very pleased with my new hair style and I would thoroughly recommend this salon and Abii in particular.

I was given a one hour flight experience as a Christmas present which was great. When I saw it was a static simulator I was a little let down, expecting an actual moving flight simulator. Fear not! With the wrap-around windows it really felt like I was moving. The sound effects, landing gear rumbling etc added to the atmosphere. I couldn't fault it for feeling like an actual flight. My wife sat behind me and she also felt like she was actually flying. We enjoyed looking out of the windows at the scenery passing by. I can assure you, you will not realise you are static. I was most impressed by the flying experience. The instructor was very professional, giving me adequate instruction without overloading me with too much info. I chose a couple of routes to 'fly', and enjoyed every minute. Definitely recommend this as a gift or spoil yourself and give it a go.

Had great fun in the Stranger things escape room! There were lots of exciting puzzles to work out and, although it was challenging, it was still great fun for all the familly. Jasmine was really helpful and encouraging and, while we were in the room, she gave us some really helpful tips.

Me and my husband visited for our first ever escape room experience and we loved both rooms! Everything is perfectly designed and thought out with brilliant props and scenery for a fully immersive experience; we had great fun as a team of 2 but I imagine it would be even better with more team members! The puzzles were the right level of challenging to make them fun but still get you thinking and it was a great feeling when you accomplished them! The Merlin room was our favourite, everything was so magical and you really felt like you were in another world, we want to do it again! Richie is so friendly and always on hand should you need extra clues. We cant wait to come back and try the new rooms!

A beauty and wellness sanctuary in a gorgeous Georgian country house. Alwalton Hall offers beauty, wellness, relaxation and rejuvenation treatments. Admission to Alwalton Hall and grounds is restricted to those aged 16 or over.
I came to visit for the bamboo massage treatment with Vicky, and it was a lovely peaceful experience. Vicky handled the appointment with grace and was very calming throughout. I was given plenty of time to get ready after the appointment which was really lovely not to be rushed out. The building is in a gorgeous location and the food made by Ben was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be returning!

We came to Escape Peterborough a couple of weeks ago to try out one of their rooms, at first glance I’ll be honest the place looks like a standard office building “how can you have escape rooms here” I thought to myself We were greeted by a nice gentleman named Luke he introduced himself and ask us if we had played before (which we had) really nice humour and rapport that you don’t usually get at businesses like these, after we got ourselves ready we were greeted by what felt like 30,000 steps to the top floor (don’t worry it’s only about 2 floors up) and were brought into a narrow corridor, Luke then proceeded to give us our safety tips and our story and as he said “your time starts now” we where wowed as this is the moment we entered the room and saw the amazing decor, I haven’t played many escape rooms but this is definitely one of the best looking ones for sure!!! The puzzle were difficult but not impossible and we managed to escape and save our dog in an amazing time of 43:23 I can say this is our first room with Escape Peterborough but it will NOT be our last we were amazing stunned with how amazing the room looked and how good the puzzles were props to the person who designed that room it was phenomenal, and our Game Master Luke made the experience even more enjoyable he made us feel immersed with the game with the slight nudges he gave us, he is one man that seems like he loves his job!!! 11/10 would escape again

Strangers talk of an ancient rare jewel said to hold unimaginable value. It was rumoured to belong to the first mayor of Red Rock around 300 years ago who was supposedly assassinated in a political conspiracy between the neighbouring towns. Whether this jewel truly exists, nobody knows.
Based next to Peterborough Dogs, we arrived and had a lovely friendly welcome by Julia, a quick and fun briefing and we were locked away in the red rock room, had a great time and really fun experience, yes we cracked it with some great team work and talking to each other!! Really fab time!!! Thanks for making it great Julia, you are a legend and such a lovely person!!

Hourglass Escapes is a brand new family run escape room coming to Peterborough in 2020. Designed, built and run by Della & James; we welcome you to join us aboard our journey from becoming Escapees to the guys with the keys!
A team of 4 of us took on the Unstoppable room on Saturday, and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. We've done a few virtual escape games over lockdown, but this was the first live game we'd played and we'd highly recommend it... definitely by far the best, and the next best thing to being able to do it physically ourselves. Della and James were the perfect hosts, with Della being our eyes on the ground, definitely with the rougher end of the deal trying to follow our often contradictory instructions from Nottingham and Kent. She gave just the right amount of pointed clues as needed by letting the camera linger a little longer on something we'd not yet explored, or giving us a timely reminder of what we had in our possession or around us. James was behind the scenes making sure that as we found things they opened in an inventory on our phones or laptop for us to take a closer look... ingenious really! The rooms are well set out and there was plenty to keep the 4 of us busy for an hour, with us just managing to stop the train with a few minutes to spare. The puzzles were varied and challenging, but solvable and logical so that we were never left thinking that we'd never have got there without help. Wherever you are, you should really give this game a go - it really is one advantage of lockdown that you can connect with friends and family across the miles and experience a wonderful and fun hour's entertainment without having to travel to Peterborough at the moment. Highly recommended, and we can't wait to see what Hourglass Escapes come up with next. Huge thanks and congratulations on your excellent Escape Room Della and James.
