The TSANGARIDES winery is the next generation of Cypriot wines. Our avowed philosophy is to blend old school traditions with new school style. Our youth, energy, and passion coupled with the distinct sense of place that wine brings to our lives, allow us to produce wines of great character, and distinction. The wine scene in Cyprus is now flourishing and we are extremely proud to be considered as one of the key wineries at the leading edge of this long awaited revival of our countries wine industry.

The winery is situated just outside Pano Panayia village, in the mountainous area of Paphos district in an altitude of about 850 m above sea level, surrounded from Paphos forest. We produce our wines from the indigenous grape varieties Xynisteri, Spourtiko , Promara (whites) and Ntopio Mavro, Maratheftiko and Yiannoudi(reds) which are cultivated in the best viticultural area of Cyprus, the Vouni Panayia area. Visitors coming to the winery can experience the traditional Cypriot hospitality; taste our wines, take a tour of the winery, watch the procedure of producing the wine and traditional products which are produced from the grape like soutzioukkos and zivania. The restaurant is open after reservation for lunch (seasonal traditional cuisine)
This was the second visit by my wife to Cyprus we stayed at the Princess Beach Hotel, Larnaca on the occasion of the twelfth anniversary of our engagement. The best trip out we had was to The Vouni Panaya Winery in the Pathos Forest which was outstanding for its wine and hospitality. The sunny 90min drive from Lanaca through the mountains is a joy, with better roads than I have at home in the countryside of Gloucestershire, England. Paphos is in the west of Cyprus where the mountains meet the sea, it has several sites relating to the Goddess Aphrodite, whose mythical birthplace was at Old Paphos. Pathos as an area is definitely worth a visit, and you must go to this fabulous winery which is in a stunning location and offers a great wine tasting and tour.

Family Business with handmade wood creations. The perfect option for personalized gifts and customized wooden signs. We use local timber from Troodos mountains using sustainable methods and eco-friendly materials and paints. Most of the timber is actually trees that were burned during wild fires in the summer. With our art we are giving these woods a second life. Bring your own new idea, and let us create a unique wooden plaque which will decorate your House, Office, Man Cave or She Shed ;-)

The Art & Shock Gallery opened in Paphos in the summer of 2017. The Art & Shock Gallery is a timeless place, place that is beyond politics and nationalities. On the pictures that are collected in the gallery you can’t see the country where they were created and it was done on purpose. The pictures come from Kamchatka to France. Here in the Art & Shock Gallery one can see the diverse and various environment that created. Here you could see everything: Georgian feast, Baltic sea-banks and languishing European beauties. And this very contrast and diversity give the gallery its colour and highlight its individuality as well.

Located about 9km north of Pafos (Paphos), the monastery of Agios Neophytos was founded by the Cypriot recluse and writer Neophytos in the second half of the 12th century, in what used to be a secluded location at the head of the picturesque valley. The hermit carved a cave out of the mountains called the ‘Enkleistra’, which is covered with some of the finest examples of Byzantine frescoes that date back from the 12th to the 15th centuries. The monastery has a noteworthy ecclesiastical museum and its later church also contains some of the finest Post-Byzantine icons dating to the 16th century.

This monastery is open all day for the visitors . Is also known as one of the best wineries in the region . Two of their wines were awarded. It is well worth to visit the museum in which it has two stores, upstairs they keep the old treasures of the monastery as well as icons from the 17th century’s restored by the older father Dionysios.

A small but lovely museum at Polis. Only 2.5 euro. What I loved was the information provided for the artefacts. Also, you can see there the tallest statue ever found on the island of Cyprus. Definitely worths the visit.

This is no ordinary museum. For €5 per person, plus €5 for the optional guidebook, you have a chance to go inside the special home of a lady, Chryso, who preserves the life's work of her late husband and renowned archeologist, George Eliades. His eclectic collection of items, the house frozen in time and the 2nd/3rd century BC tomb and other artefacts in the garden make for a quirky and fascinating 4* visit. Add chatting to Chryso and you have a well-spent 5* hour or so...
