At Mr.E's Solve-it-torium you must find clues and solve riddles to reach your final goal. My Solve-it-torium is a great place for a fun night on the town!!! How many? 6 people but I recommend 4 for the BEST experience. How long? 45 min and not a second longer!
Our family has tried several different escape rooms in different cities. Mr E’s is a great experience with fun challenging rooms. We have one more room to do and will definitely be back to finish the adventure

Had the opportunity to go on a tour of this facility and we were thoroughly impressed. Fantastic beers and a great facility. The Brewer provided the tour and the storey of the beer scene in Medicine Hat and he displays the knowledge and passion needed to make excellent beer. We will always make a stop at this brewery. They do things right.

The Esplanade is where arts and heritage come to life in Medicine Hat, where the stories of our great collective culture are told through music and dance, theatre, painting and sculpture, exhibitions and installations, artifacts, objets d’art and more. Inside, visitors are delighted to discover a vibrant art gallery, a prized museum, an intimate studio theatre, a dynamic education suite, expansive public archives and many volunteers and staff who are eager to tell their versions of our city’s tale. The Esplanade also features a 700-seat main stage theatre which boasts superior theatre technology, acoustic perfection and striking interior design. In the northeast corner of the grounds stands another inviting building with stories of its own to tell. With its white picket fence, gingerbread trim and quaint heritage gardens, the restored Ewart Duggan House, the oldest brick home in Alberta still on its original foundation built with locally produced bricks, is open year-round.
This museum boasts local heritage resources, well presented displays, books and arts/entertainment in a full stage with wonderful acoustics. The Esplandade has an atrium for artistic settings and small gatherings. Weddings are common in here. The grounds have statutory honoring immigrants and local fisherman.

Medalta was a very successful ceramic production facility in its day. The kilns are interesting to see as is the original studio where the production took place, with a rotating kiln . A charming art gallery with good ceramic displays is also on the site .The large round kilns were for firing bricks. Good place to see.

This grande old theater is wonderfully restored and is a true piece of Medicine Hats history! They show movies and can be rented out for all types of venues. Concerts, weddings, funerals are just a few of the things happening there. Winter time you will find a selection of free movies on a Saturday afternoon for the kids or at Easter time. This theatre is a must to visit!

An indoor garden centre and a tropical butterfly house (butterfly house has entrance fee - see website for price list). Open all year!
My kids LOVE nature, they catch lizards, frogs, geckos instead of watching TV, one of the benefits of growing up in Australia. During a visit home to the Hat we were fortunate enough to visit this little gem - a tropical paradise - in a desolate semi-arid desert! seeing Morpha butterflies was the highlight, but don't be fooled, when their wings are closed they look like an ordinary brown moth. When they open - WOW! Much appreciation for the efforts put into creating this unique experience.

In 1912 the Medicine Hat Brewing Company began serving old fashioned lager, ale and stout to our city's early, thirsty residents. When the Temperance Movement picked up, this popular brewery was forced to close. But you can't keep a good thing down. Over a century later, the Medicine Hat Brewing Company name was dusted off and again, we serve thirsty, hard-working people damn fine beer.
I love stopping in at craft breweries wherever I travel. This brewery has a big, warm room , extremely friendly and welcoming staff, and an awesome selection of beers. You can order a flight in a variety of sizes, and since I love the dark beers I went for it! Eight samples of stouts, porters and ambers, and I loved most of them. Ordered the fish and chips to go with it. The fish was overdone, but still tasty. Overall worth a repeat visit - hopefully in the summer where I will try their lighter beers.
