This 15th century pub with its historic fittings and thatched roof played a huge part in keeping proper ale going during the dark days of the 60's & 70's. So it was great to finally get here and enjoy a couple of the home brewed Spingo Ales. The bar is on the right side of the corridor when you enter whilst there are 2 separate rooms on the left side. Plenty of locals enjoying the beers during my visit, I shall definitely be returning, hopefully for a proper session.

Brilliant and free! My 7 year old loved the pumpkin quiz and the toy section. The wedding dresses and old medicines were also great. We had a lovely morning looking around and the staff were lovely and friendly too. A huge plus was that it is dog friendly.

My partner loves poppies. My partner loves decorative glass. My partner loves decorative glass decorated by poppies. My partner has such items procured from this location. My partner adores this enterprise. We buy every time we visit. We have bought for ourselves and for friends/family. The proprietor is engaging, knowledgeable, has a good memory, despite our infrequent visits and is truly creative. If you like glass decoration try this place. She will even let you book an experience session.

This is a must visit gift shop! We visit several times every time we are on holiday in Cornwall. During covid lockdowns, I have also bought from them through their Facebook/Instagram pages. Nothing is too much effort for this team and they send over details of any products you are interested in, always replying promptly and once items are purchased, they are always received within days in the post. The glass artwork is absolutely stunning, and obviously the glass ‘Bob’! Well done and thank you for adapting your business during covid so that we can still purchase your items for special celebration gifts from the other end of the country!
