Just a couple of steps away from the “German Corner”. Great gardens with gorgeous flowers. A pity the church was closed, worth coming back to see the inside.

The Scientific Collection of Defence Engineering Specimens (WTS) in Koblenz is a collection focusing on military technology. The WTS is open every day from 09:30 to 16:30. It is closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day and on Rosenmontag (Carnival Monday). Due to Corona, it wasn't the tour you might expect from a classic tour. But other than that, we had an amazing ~2 hours on the hill. We were given some information of the weingut in advance accompanied by a good glass of wine, the first of 4. With each glass came a good explanation of the wines by the extremely friendly staff and a very enthusiastic owner. All spoke English which was perfect for us and gave us the opportunity to ask questions. The view is stunning and only that could be a reason for a visit. Don't expect a well guided tour in Corona times. But do expect a beautiful place with very passionate people doing whatever they can to welcome their guests in these unusual times.
