An educational orientation session is given and swimming skills are not required, making this the perfect marine adventure for the whole family, even children as young as six.
Though it is smaller than the one in Dubai and too few aquariums to see, the aquariums and the fish are beautiful and top quality show for your eyes. The belugas are playful lovely. They are in an big aquarium for you to contemplate but you cannot forget that they certainly feel better and happier free in the wild out there in the ocean. Beautiful pictures are to be taken.

This museum was extremely well organized, with exhibits numbered for those that like a more structured journey through history. Most exhibits were translated into English (fairly well!) and included a beautiful blend of display cases, models, and themed rooms with audio/visual elements. Even though the front was under renovations, the rest of the museum was beautifully done and had plenty on offer about the history of hainan from shipwrecks to food and culture and ancient ancestors. Best of all, it’s free! Just be sure to bring your passport/ID card!

We needed a break from the hotel and the mall was a perfect place. Lots of eateries around, good fairy prices at the stalls around. Definitely worth if you are with a little one. There's a tiny train that goes around on the 1st floor for little kids. Costs 20rmb. Miniso shop has fair prices for quick items that one may have forgotten. A huge supermarket on 2floor.
