Geelong's original live puzzle game. You have 70 minutes to unravel the mystery of a hidden room, working as a team of 2-6 to solve a variety of quirky and inventive puzzles to escape.
Had an impressive and challenging time at Escape Room Geelong. So tricky, but not impossible and we were given time to get through the whole thing. The guy was a great help and offered assistance via walkie talkie as required. The adventure begins before you get there with a clue for you to find the location. We did the Magic Room, but there is an Original option as well. I highly recommend this. It was our first escape room and I would definitely do another following this experience.

Absolutely love the Pivotonian Cinema for it's great atmosphere, comfy seats, great icecream, coffee etc etc. I will always choose to see a movie in this intimate cinema rather than the bigger ones ie Village cinemas. There are often lesser well known movies that may only last a couple of weeks in the major cinemas that you can see here. Easy parking across Moorabool Street is also great. Would highly recommend!

Placed in cuffs (optional), shackled together and locked in a cell you have just 45 minutes to pick yourself free and use what's around you to escape your cell. Options for experts and beginners alike - try your hand at being a prisoner looking to break free. A Safety-first design ensures you can get out instantly in an emergency. Ideal for Team Building with seven cells accommodating up to 21 persons at once (in a single one hour session) with a minimum of two persons. Situated in a picturesque bluestone village, sitting on the side of a cliff overlooking the river the bluestone walls add realism to the adventure. On the same site is a Winery & Restaurant, a Cafe, an Art Gallery and various craft stores for you to enjoy.
Andrew provided an amazing experience with his friendly demeanor and creative puzzles. Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere.

St Mary of the Angels Basilica on Yarra Street is an impressive major landmark in the city. The stone building is hard to miss due to it being the tallest in the city. The interior is equally impressive.

Geelong Children's Museum, MoPA: Museum of Play and Art, is a beautiful and creative space for children and families to play and learn together. Visitors can roam and engage with the immersive experiences, or join in on any number of artful activations with the amazing team of educators. The Museum is open 7-days a week but tickets are limited - so forward bookings are highly recommended (via their website)!
MoPA is an amazing space and concept. Each area has been carefully considered and made completely for kids - Finally! And then there's the cafe with lovely coffee, food and snacks for everyone. The staff are amazing, helpful, kind and fun. There are plenty of extra activities too, like dance party, paint crafts and paint the car. Will definitely be frequenting MoPA.

Here the story of wool is brought to life - told by those who lived it and through the sights and the sounds of heritage machines weaving carpets and knitting socks. Here the smell of lanolin fills the air, fresh fleece beckons your touch and the authentic surrounds of the shearing shed immerse you in the Australian wool story. The National Wool Museum experience is more than just wool. Here history, science, fashion, handcraft and art come together. Here temporary exhibitions and programs combine learning, exploration and entertainment. Here you can find the finest woollens, learn a traditional craft, explore our region's heritage and maybe even come fate-to-face with creatures from our past. Today the National Wool Museum is one of Australia's cultural treasures - as a cultural heritage destination for visitors and community.
This wasn't high on my to-do list in Geelong but it turned out to be a really interesting museum with some hands on exhibits - try your hand at grading wool or work the sock knitting machine. The carpet loom is fascinating though I'm still in the dark about how it works. There was also an international wildlife photography exhibition which was amazing. My 10 year old and I spent about 2 hours here. Highly recommend.
