A 100% employee-owned brewery recently named the nation's best brewery tour by USA Today's 10Best. Full tap selection featuring year-round favorites and small-batch beauties. Free tours (book in advance to claim a spot) and a different food truck every day. Kids welcome, but must be 21+ to sample our delicious beers. Well-behaved dogs on a leash also welcome. Indoor bars, outdoor patio and lawn. Electric vehicle charging available.
The rating is solely for the beer, which is some of the most innovative and highest quality in the USA. They have so many styles you are sure to find one (likely many more) that you love. The bar and outside areas are excellent and sipping a great beer in the winter sun is a highlight of any trip to Fort Collins. Now for the tour, which had been on our bucket list since my son started attending CSU. He was finally 21 so we were good to go. Fear and trepidation entered my heart when the first announcement from the tour guide was that he spoke too fast. I think that’s what he said but he spoke so fast I could only catch every third word. So off we went. The beer samples were great but the information was mostly indecipherable.

The Cupboard is the best shopping experience in Fort Collins, CO and Northern Colorado. In this day when retail is being assaulted by online shopping, the experience matters. The impressive selection of kitchen and home decor products, the knowledgeable and courteous staff, and personal attention detail from the owner who is often present create a store that truly stands above all the rest. Many people come to Fort Collins just to shop at The Cupboard. For those of us how live here, we say "why wouldn't you?" There is nothing like it! Thanks Cupboard staff and ownership for working so hard to be exceptional.

Somewhere Secret is a real place filled with relics, puzzles, challenges, and magic. It is a live action puzzle game that anyone can play. Somewhere Secret, of course, contains a secret. A true treasure map that leads to something amazing hidden somewhere in Colorado. You will have one hour to explore the room and solve the puzzles that lead up to the treasure chest. If you unlock the map, the adventure continues as your team embarks on the scavenger hunt to find the treasure.
Most escape rooms begin from the moment you enter and the door closes behind you. Not Somewhere Secret! It draws you in right from the moment you book with instructions leading you to a hidden spot, a rendezvous with a stranger, and a storyline that provided the perfect background for one of the most enjoyable hours I've spent in Fort Collins. The amount of thought that has gone into crafting this is very impressive. It's very engaging and also extremely fair, with some really beautifully made puzzles. I did it with a friend and we found it difficult but doable by two people with some escape room experience, while still providing enough variety and challenge to occupy a larger group with children or more novice players. I especially loved the many 'magical' effects; no two puzzles were alike and there were a lot of enjoyable 'aha!' moments. We also never felt truly stuck because there was always something to look at, fiddle with or work on. I'd highly recommend this to anyone interested in puzzles, logic, magic and adventure - it deserves every one of its five stars, and my only regret is that there's just the one experience available right now to play. If there was another, I'd definitely sign up straight away for it!

Fort Collins has Franklin Avery to thank for the wide streets in Fort Collins; he took advantage of the open spaces when he surveyed the town in 1873. Avery later founded First National Bank and was instrumental in developing water projects that enabled agriculture to flourish in northern Colorado. In 1879, he and his wife Sara built a family home on the corner of Mountain Avenue and Meldrum Street and raised their children, Edgar, Ethel, and Louise, there. The original two-story home consisted of two rooms on the first floor, now the entry area and dining room; three bedrooms upstairs; and a basement. Constructed of sandstone from local quarries, the house cost $3,000 when it was built. During the ensuing years, the Averys added to the house several times; the final addition included the distinctive Queen Anne tower. Poudre Landmarks Foundation, Inc., was formed in 1972 and manage the house along with the City of Fort Collins.

The brewing exhibit was very informative and made learning fun! What's not to love about beer? :-) We could have spent days looking at the permanent exhibits; a compact space that had much to see and learn about. Peter and Bridget had valuable insights on the exhibits. We look forward to future visits.
