Based on other reviews we (two couples) travelled to Remy Massin Champagne following our Sat-Nav from Troyes which took about 35mins using the Peage. We decided to miss the tour at 3pm, electing to taste a couple of Champagnes with a view to purchasing a few bottles and arrived around 3.45pm. The tour and tasting was just finishing and those people were leaving and so we received a personal tasting session of 5 different Champagne varieties with the owners grand-daughter. We belive the Champagne is very good - based on our tasting as we have not actually opened a bottle on our return home yet - and we purchased a mixed case of six bottles each at an average price of c.16E/bottle (you get an increasing discount if you buy 6,12, or 24 bottles and they will split this if you go as a group). We were probably at the Champagne House for around an hour and it was a very enjoyable experience.

My daughter and I went on a one day champagne tour excursion from Paris. Just 8 people were in the group, all English speakers. We had a French tour guide who did a wonderful job translating from French to English as we were shown the property and guided through the process of champagne making by the owner Stephane. We had a wonderful time in his tasting room as well. A kind and unassuming gentleman, this champagne master was a wonderful host. As others have mentioned, he does not currently ship outside of France but we were able to purchase a few bottles there. The trip was a delight and a real highlight of our two weeks in France.

A lovely little spot for quite a nice champagne. We tasted and then purchased a 2015 vintage blanc de noirs. It felt like being in someone’s house. It was slightly awkward being just two of us for the tasting but of course a little champagne relieves the tension. In nicer weather it would be fun to sit outside.

This is a stunning cathedral! It’s amazing, intricate, beautiful and awe inspiring from the outside and dramatic and breath taking from the inside. It’s sheer size and height is amazing and I’ve never seen such a wonderful set of stain glass windows ranging from the very old to ultra modern contemporary. It has a fascinating history and of course don’t miss the statue if the smiling angel. Now one of my favourite Cathedrals! .... and returning after dark (in summer) you can be treated to a superb light show projected onto front of Cathedral ... fantastic! Well done Reims.

This place challenges you to use your imagination and asks you to stay and listen to the stories. There is something about the map room that inspires you to learn more about those who sat there in 1945 and asks you to look more closely at the people behind the names. There is something about the story of the unofficial newspaper that shows the US determined to seperate information from propaganda to let the front line forces make up their own minds, as the Axis trops were unable to. And there is something about the newspaper articles that casts sharp focus on history. The museum itself casts sharp focus of the position of Reims in history, and to the Second World War in particular. I can think of few places that will better reward the time spent here.

We originally thought all champagne houses were far away from the downtown and only had 24 hrs in Reims. The tourist center recommended us to get the 1 day pass, and we were able to book an English tour for the next morning. This site used to be an abby from the 3rd century, which became the cellar now. The tour was interesting, and our tour guide Frankie was amazing! I'd highly recommend this tour.
