Bowness-on-Windermere is a town in South Lakeland, Cumbria, England. Due to its position on the banks of Windermere, the town has become a tourist honeypot. Although their mutual growth has caused them to become one large settlement, the town is distinct from the town of Windermere as the two still have distinguishable town centres. Historically part of Westmorland, in 2012, Bowness was one of the official stop off points for the Olympic torch before it made its way to the Olympic Games opening ceremony.

We offer Soft Tissue, Sports Massage, Podiatry, and Beauty Therapy. Phone & Online Bookings available. Based in Bowness and only a short walk from the Lakeside. Check our website for full treatment options.
Excellent, professional, friendly and really informative experience. Being new to sports massage I was made to feel comfortable and relaxed and was surprised about how much I learnt about my body before I was even on the table. The treatment room and whole site was extremely clean and thought out within current government health guidelines where they have gone above and beyond. The massage itself felt incredible- I didn’t know it was possible to work a nerve so much just wondering hands! I’m already feeling the benefits and Looking forward to returning to work other areas. The treatment was specific to the problems I was having and Hazel was sure to ask lots of questions prior to treatment in order to ensure she was addressing the areas really in need.

"One Hour. One Room. Can you Escape?" The creators of the award winning Lancaster Escape bring you more creations....can your team get out in time?
Wow. What an amazing, hilarious experience this was. My partner and I booked to see how well we would do getting out of the cutting room! We escaped with 15 seconds to spare! Minimal arguments, several screams and lots of laughs. So much effort is put into the games and puzzles by the team. The decor was fab and the whole set up was so good! We really enjoyed our time and I would recommend everyone to visit. Best one we’ve been to. Thanks so much!!

Enjoy a serene day out at the most enchanting historic houses in the Lake District. When you visit you are invited to relax and immerse yourself in all the beauty and craftsmanship of Blackwell. We encourage you to sit and soak up the atmosphere in Blackwell’s fireplace inglenooks, which have fine examples of tiles by Arts & Crafts designer William de Morgan. The inviting window seats offer stunning views of the surrounding Lake District scenery. You can appreciate the house as it was originally intended, without roped-off areas. Blackwell retains many of its original decorative features, including a rare hessian wall-hanging in the Dining Room, leaf-shaped door handles, curious window catches, spectacular plasterwork, stained glass and carved wooden panelling by Simpsons of Kendal. The rooms contain furniture and objects by many of the leading Arts and Crafts designers and studios.
Beautiful house in the Arts and Crafts style. Sunning examples of workmanship throughout, both original and recreated. Special exhibitions run throughout the year. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, went out of their way to tell us about the house and wider history. The small gift shop stocks beautiful products from local as well as national craftspeople, ceramics, jewelry etc and the tea room has great food, light lunches and cakes and the staff were again really friendly. I would really recommend a visit, a little space of peace and tranquility and fine craftsmanship overlooking Winderemere.

It was like stepping back in time with the retro cinema, popcorn and icecream! We all went to see Mamamia and sat upstairs in the old fashioned cinema and the whole family loved the experience. The staff were so friendly and we got free parking so a perfect night!

The Old Laundry Theatre is a 270 seat theatre-in-the-round situated in Bowness-on-Windermere, and a thriving cultural hub for residents and visitors to the Lake District. Over the past two decades, the Old Laundry has welcomed a host of famous names from Alan Carr and Jenny Eclair to Victoria Wood and Sue Perkins. And along with an impressive star-studded list of trustees, husband and wife Roger Glossop and Charlotte Scott name one of the country's most famous playwrights as the inspiration behind the theatre's creation: "We wouldn't be where we are now without Alan Ayckbourn's support, he gave us the confidence to open the theatre and its success is down to him".
This small theater gets you close to the performance and creates an intimate atmosphere, particularly when the set up in the 'in the round configuration'. A great place for Ayckbourn plays. There are no restrictive views, but the best seats are away from the upper corners. The front rows are great, but expect to be very close to the performers.

A visit to St Martin's Church is a most enjoyable experience and the stained glass windows are a treat to see. It is situated along a main street in lovely Bowness and appears to be very well looked after. Our visit was mid-week when we spent about ten minutes of prayer and reflection in one of the rear pews before admiring the Church itself. We really enjoyed the visit and recommend.
