Bayfield, at the northern tip of Wisconsin, on the shores of Lake Superior, is the main gateway to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, a series of pristine islands known as "The Jewels of Lake Superior." Camp, hike, kayak, scuba dive and sail amongst these 21 islands, exploring hidden sea caves, six historic light stations and forgotten ship wrecks. When I first visited Superior Body Massage & Spa ... I was in a "world of hurt". Anna has been a key factor in my process of improvement. I have a lot of years behind me. Along the way I've had several injuries ... including a fall from the roof of a 2-story house, a few bicycle accidents, and several mishaps that resulted in one injury or another. Otherwise, my health is quite good. Our move from Chicagoland to Bayfield County involved 3-4 weeks of lifting, moving, and carrying boxes. Many boxes were not all that light. The result ... I hurt. My joints hurt like they have never hurt before , Anna has helped me. At the start of each visit ... she asks about recent pains, doctor visits,, exercise and Physical Therapy, I'm very pleased that what I tell her about recent and current activities she customizes her treatment to meet those needs. If you want to feel better, contact Superior Body Massage & Spa.

The fun and friendly baristas are very accommodating and engaging. Weather your fancy is iced mojitos featuring locally harvested blueberries or the full force galestrom aptly named "the northeaster', the copper crow will leave you with plenty of wind in your sails as you explore the wonders of the apostle islands national lake shore. We were walking past the Bayfield Maritime Museum with no intent of visiting but were enticed by a boat building exhibit and decided to go in. Glad we did Becky this is a very interesting place. There are abundant displays on lake life ranging from fishing to boat building and the ubiquitous shipwrecks so common to the hard life on Lake Superior. This museum presents these topics in a clear and informative way. I recommend it.

A true winery! We visited on August 1st during the Covid and they took extreme measures to allow an enjoyable experience of wine tasting and even had afternoon music.

Bayfield Winery offers a generous selection of apple-based fruit wines made right here in beautiful Bayfield, WI. Blueberry, blackberry, cherry, cranberry, and raspberry make up just a few of the wines you may taste when visiting Bayfield Winery, located in the big red barn at Hauser's Superior View Farm.
Thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit on a beautiful day. Has more than a superior view and we tasted and loved the cider. Purchased two bottles of our favorite, Tart Cherry Hard Cider. We will return.
