Gallery of approximately 60 different local artists. Art is juried for quality and variety. A wonderful place to purchase unique gifts or for that spaecial place in your home.
It was a perfect place to see art and relax after lunch in Old Auburn. My 16 year old son really took the time to look at everything and explain the different types of techniques used by the artists that he has learned in art class.

My daughter and I visited the museum. Based on internet information and/or signage, we had the impression this museum was closed due to Covid. We were walking by this beautiful stately building and decided to walk up to the doorway...it was open and we went inside. This is when we found out the museum was open. We had a wonderful visit. This was enhanced by the fact we got to go to a real indoor museum after over a year of doing everything outdoors. The docent at the museum was friendly, helpful and gave great suggestions about what to view in the building. We viewed all the exhibits and then went to the upper floors to view the beautiful hallways on the courtroom floors. The courtrooms were locked, so we could not see inside unfortunately. If you are in Placer County Old Town area, don't miss coming here. It will only take you about an hour, and you will learn a lot about local and California history.

The local kids love to take pictures on the steps for homecoming and prom. It's easy to see why - such a beautiful building and location. Downtown Auburn is lovely and this is the perfect building and anchor.

Love their red wines- cabernet was my favorite. Can't really speak to the whites as I did not try them as I prefer reds. Loved the wines enough to join the wine club! Friendly service, and beautiful outdoor sitting area. Peaceful, tranquil setting. Highly recommend! ????????????

Knee Deep is known for their IPAs and they have a bunch of good ones. There’s always 20+ beers on tap including some other styles. Their tap room is spacious with picnic style tables inside and also a smaller area outside. Food trucks rotate but one is almost always there.

A beautiful art deco era theater that has been restored with 340 seats. Event types include movies, music, live theater, community and civic events. The theater is available for rent. A great place for the whole family and meet your friends for a wonderful outing in downtown Auburn
Also know as State Theater and Auburn Placer Performing Arts Center. We came here with friends to attend a Halloween performance by one of our favorite Americana bands. This is a nice intimate comfortable restored Art Deco theater. The seats are large and plush with nice legroom. I do not think there is a bad seat in the house for a live performance. It took the sound people a song or two to get the mix dialed in but the acoustics are very good. It is worth the 75 minute drive to see a show here.
