VJW Holistic Therapies is a luxury, award winning health and beauty spa within an idyllic location in Lindley, Huddersfield. Our aim is to provide the highest quality therapeutic treatments using only natural and organic skincare products. Our holistic approach gives our clients a sense of well being for both the mind and body, with each treatment tailored to the clients needs.
I have been a client at VJW for many years and am so excited to have my first post lockdown appointment booked in. I go fortnightly for gel nails as well as for occasional other treats such as the odd massage or spa day (highly recommended for an indulgent day with a loved one). As well as my nails being very much in need of some TLC I am looking forward to feeling relaxed and pampered there as I always do. The treatments are always luxurious and professional and delivered in such a lovely, relaxing environment. My nails have always been weak and have improved immensely since my regular visits to VJW. All the therapists are professional and friendly making every visit a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Thanks all, have missed you and can’t wait to see you soon.

My partner bought me a pamper package many years ago to this beautiful hidden gem of a spa and I've been a regular ever since gaining VIP status which includes lots of extra treats. I try to make a day of it or at least half a day with treatments in the morning a lovely sandwich lunch and more pampering in the afternoon. The thermal rooms are heavenly and every treatment I have had has been wonderfully relaxing and done extremely professionally by very friendly and knowledgeable therapists. One of the reasons this spa stand out is the personal one to one service and the fact they only allow a limited number of clients at any one time so you are always made to feel extra special. I am also now a convert to the amazing Eve Taylor range, especially the No 6 serum. Unfortunately due to covid-19 the spa is currently closed, so really missing my pamper sessions, can't wait for the spa to reopen and have a well-earned day in the spa, but for now I'm enjoying the weekly distant Reiki sessions on a Sunday between 11.00-11.30am, what a fab idea. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone and everyone, have a look at their website for details of the many treatments, packages and also pictures of the spa, and give yourself an indulgent treat or two, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Maxine and your lovely team for all your 'perfect pampering'.

I am a regular customer over the last few years and have found all Rosa salons to provide excellent standards. Last week I had 90 min massage by Koi, she was very friendly, responsive and worked hard with the perfect combination of relaxing strokes and targeted problem areas. I look forward to my next visit.

My 13-year-old daughter and I made this hike one afternoon while staying in Haworth. I believe there are guided tours, but we decided to follow a crowd and do the hike ourselves. The falls are about 2 1/2 miles each way from the parsonage...another mile or 2 to Top Withens...but we didn't go that far. Lovely scenery and peaceful. We went on a partly cloudy day. I would take sturdy shoes and water to drink. It's a little hike but worth the effort!

Join us at Titanic Spa to enjoy a day spa or indulge in an overnight spa break, staying in one of our luxurious serviced apartments.
We visited again for my husband's birthday as were able to book our favourite spa package in the 2-4-1 sale again - a total bargain at £150 per couple for overnight stay and day in spa, plus 1 course lunch, 2 course evening dinner and continental breakfast basket in apartment. All apartments seem to be exactly the same with the very same issues that are never addressed: - rooms always very hot but they provide a powerful fan in the bedroom area and having the patio door opens keeps the room cool. - bathroom ceiling is very low and in desperate need of a paint (can't have been painted in well over 4-5 years!) See photos. - Shower is inside bath tub and the ceiling is so low that my 6foot,3 husband can't stand up right in it! Actually getting under the shower head, which is even lower, is a big struggle for him as has to contort and bend over backwards, doing so he nearly slipped. Even I, at 5foot,4 only just fit under the shower head. - bath has anti-slip mat but using this blocks the plughole! so a bit pointless really, but my husband did nearly slip so the mat is obviously necessary.... just impossible to use whilst using shower! - the bathroom desperately needs an extractor fan as there is no ventilation or window to open. Whilst we love the mini apartments complete with full kitchenette and comfy living room area, so much better than just a boring standard hotel room, they are starting to feel a little tired in places - although always very well cleaned. Compliments to the cleaning staff. The double bed was actually 2 singles pushed together, which is always disappointing. However the bed and pillows are always very comfortable. The living area is comfortable to relax in and the kitchen has everything you might need, enough to cook a meal if you fancied! Plus fridge and freezer, so we always bring our own wine and snacks. There is also a lovely little balcony to sit out on if the sun is shining, we just carried the dining chairs and small coffee table outside to get comfortable. Reception staff always very friendly and helpful and the waitresses in the restaurant were all really lovely too. Lunchtime menu is always very limited for someone with seafood, nuts and cheese allergies! (choice of 5-6 dishes and had to adapt 1 to meet my requirements). But evening menu always better. Staff helpful in catering for allergies and dietary requirements, so able to swap things out of meals and be a bit flexible to suit. Drinks are extra and as such rather expensive. Extras such as ciabatta bread with balsamic vinegar and olives with lunch/dinner were £2.50 each for small portion. Meal choices on the evening was much better for us and we both really enjoyed each of our 2 courses. There is a new cocktail bar open from 6pm, located near to the treatments rooms. We didn't visit as had brought a bottle of wine to enjoy together in our apartment, but we heard good things from other guests. We love coming to the spa here, one of our favourites. We visited mid-week so wasn't crazy busy, but the spa is always busy so can be a bit hard to relax with our chatty guests. There is a great choice of rooms in the Heat & Ice Experience area (2 saunas, steam room, 2 aromatherapy rooms, foot spas, ice room and plunge pool) and I always love an outside hot tub - especially when blessed with good weather :-) The other side of the spa with pool, steam room, sauna and gym upstairs is more standard hotel offerings, but the Heat & Ice Experience near the treatments rooms is excellent. The weather was lovely when we visited; warm and sunny with blue skies so we enjoyed sitting outside in our robes to recover from all the time spent in the saunas! and the cushioned chairs are nice and comfy. We will keep returning next time there is another flash sale, as £150 per couple for an overnight package cannot be beaten. We had a really lovely, relaxing, enjoyable day and overnight stay.

Visited today after getting a Vineyard Tour voucher. Easy to book online and we booked a table in the restaurant for lunch after. Nice bacon sandwich and hot drink before the tour, which started on time. Dean, the guy who conducted the tour was great. He was informative, engaging and had a good sense of humour. Tasted 3 wines made there, all of which we enjoyed. And unlike a previous reviewer, the wine glasses didn't bother us! Had a lovely lunch on the terrace. Staff were all so friendly and helpful and social distancing was maintained throughout. Enjoyed a glass of Holmfirth Solaris wine and bought a bottle to take home. Thank you everyone.
