In busy Shinjuku, you’ll find some of the tallest buildings in Toyko, as well as tons of shopping malls, bars and clubs. To escape the hustle and bustle, TripAdvisor travelers recommend visiting Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, a beautiful and peaceful park in the middle of the city.

Japanese Cooking Class offering home visit and healthy, tasty Japanese foods. Visitors would learn the secret of Japanese foods, "Umami" and Japanese foods culture by joining the class and experiencing Japanese unique cooking style.
Yuki's home cooking class was the best part of our trip to Japan! She truly went above and beyond in walking us to and from the train station to her home and teaching us all about traditional Japanese culture and cooking. We were able to choose which dish we wanted to prepare prior to our arrival (we chose Gyoza) and she ensured that we were comfortable and well-fed in her home while giving us a wealth of knowledge in Japanese cooking. We made gyoza, Japanese omelets, miso soup, cucumber salad, and rice. For dessert we had the peaches, grapes, and cookies. She also gave us the recipes to take home with us and gave wonderful recommendations for the rest of our time in Japan. Yuki's cooking class was the highlight of our trip to Japan and we are recommending her home cooking experience to all of our family and friends who visit!

Cooking Sun Tokyo is a Japanese cooking class for international travelers. We are located in Shinjuku area near JR Shinanomachi station. Classes are twice a day; Sushi class and Wagyu Kaiseki class. We welcome couples, friends, families, single travelers from around the world and of any skill level!
We took a local train there from Shinjuku (was only a couple of stops) and used google maps to get there. It was a quick 5 minute walk and found it pretty easily. It has a small sign in the window of an otherwise ordinary looking apartment block. The almost 3 hours flew by. We were a family of 4 (children 9 and 11) and were the only participants. The kids participated in everything (including using the knives) and were very capable of making their own sushi platters. Our instructor spoke perfect English, gave us loads of information and made the class fun and interesting. It was rewarding to eat the yummy sushi we had made and we are definitely looking to make sushi at home in the near future. We have all the recipes and more. It was very good value for money. Thank you Cooking Sun Tokyo!!

【One of the greatest performance in Japan】 TEJINAYA is the most famous entreatment space for Magic in Japan. We are having world winning magicians who were success at Hollywood,Las Vegas and so on. You’ll too enjoy to not drink, and get thirst. We promise the most wonderful time in your life. Please enjoy this is TEJINAYA
This place lives up to its reviews. We found this bar online through searching around for interest bars in Tokyo. This place was highly rated, and since my fiancee and I were fans of drinking and magic, this seemed like a perfect fit. Long story short - it is a 3500 yen all-you-can-drink for 90 minutes menu with a live show and some close-up magic performances right at your table. This is the only option available, but it is well worth the money. The magicians are very entertaining and sufficiently technically skilled. The close up magic is particularly entertaining, since it is typically performed when there are multiple guests (hence a wide range of angles) and each magician has a different performance for variety. Overall, this is a great deal for its price and it had great entertainment, showmanship and customer service for its price. My fiancee and I were very impressed, and we would certainly come again.

Shinjuku Gyoen was constructed on the site of a private mansion belonging to Lord Naito, a "daimyo" (feudal lord) of the Edo era. Completed in 1906 as an imperial garden, it was re-designated as a national garden after the Second World War and opened to the public. With 58.3 ha(144 acres) in size and a circumference of 3.5 km, it blends three distinct styles, Formal Garden, Landscape Garden and Japanese Traditional Garden, and is considered to be one of the most important gardens from the Meiji era.
Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden is perhaps the most beautiful garden in Tokyo, nestled in the heart of Shinjuku/Shibuya within walking distance of Shinjuku Station, this garden to me exemplifies a large Japanese garden, once the private garden of the Naitō family in the Edo period it is now under the management of the Imperial Household Agency of Japan. Autumn is a wonderful time to visit gardens in Japan, the combination of beautiful coloured foliage and stunning landscaping and vistas combine to give garden lovers an experience not to be missed, the garden is built around three lakes with plenty of paths to lead you on to one wonderful view after another, then a tea house or pavilion and then past sculpted beds of shrubs, across bridges and when finaly you need to rest you can sit at one of the cafes and enjoy a snack whilst contemplating the beauty of Japan.
