My family of 4 went took a class with Mina and her sister back in January 2021. We stayed at the Paradise resort which is further away so we rented some scooters to be able to get ourselves around. It was really easy to make a booking and we were able to specify all of the things that we wanted to cook (private class). Mina speaks English very well, we learned so much from her lessons and stories! We learned about the ingredients, how to make coconut milk and cream straight from the coconut, and how to makes the pastes for yellow, green, and massaman curries from scratch. The whole experience was educational and more importantly really fun, Mina and her sister were both wonderful! This course might be a little more expensive than other cooking classes in the area, but (at the very least compared to any of the resort options) I'd have to say this is a much more authentic and fulfilling experience and 100% worth the cost (and more). As others have said, it was the best food we ate on the island.

Bangniang Slimming & Massages, a sanctuary for indulgence and relaxation, provides guests the space and time to free the mind, relax the body, and delight the spirit.
My wife and I have been regular Bangniang Slimming and Massages customers for the past couple of years and absolutely love this place - and we've never found anything quite like it, in the area or elsewhere. What really stands out of for us is the fantastic technique and perception that our favourite masseuses display - we're always amazed at the way they can read the body, finding and working on any tension points with great accuracy with a really wide range of approaches and rhythms. Wow! We usually go for a tonic traditional Thai massage or the softer Thai Herbal Oil massage, with longer sessions, which give therapists more time to work where it’s needed - whatever you choose, from the very first touch, you'll know that you're in professional and very experienced hands… Beyond that, there's also a nice homely atmosphere in the shop's small but comfortable and impeccable facilities/equipment, with nice attention to detail and pre and post-massage drinks. A real gem in Khao Lak/Bang Niang! Thanks again for everything! Ben and Kayo

The Best Tailor makes suits, shirts, dresses and other made-to-mesure clothing for customers from around the world. Drop by our boutique in Khao Lak, to see samples of our craftsmanship and our large selection of high-quality fabrics. We look forward to meeting you soon! Wir beraten Sie auch gern auf Deutsch!
We could not have chosen a better tailor. The two brothers Mr. Christian and Mr. Raj were very friendly and gave us an excellent professional service. We were always picked up at the hotel. At the shop they listened carefully to what we wanted, helped with useful advise but never pushed us into buying anything. I'm presently wearing a pair of black pants. They are not only comfortable but they do look good. My only mistake, I should have ordered more than one pair. Over the years we have tried many tailors in Khao Lak but THE BEST TAILOR are by far the best.

We rent out top maintained scooters Honda Click 125cc top from 11 EUR per day. Minimum 2 days rental. Inclusive: 2 helmets, bookmarks on GPS Navi App and free Hotel delivery and Pickup from 3 - 5 rental days depending on the distance to the hotel.
Just excellent. If you need a bike/scooter in Khao Lak this is the company to use. Their website is very easy to understand, the online booking system is incredibly easy to use. The communication (email/Whatsapp) is super quick and effective. The policies and prices are clear, fair and up front. We rented a 125cc scooter for 4 days with free pickup and drop from our hotel (11kms from town centre). The scooter was in great condition, with 2 clean helmets, and Jorg was very helpful in helping us with the free maps app, and even recommending a really good money exchange place in town. Great to see honest and excellent businesses that are really easy to deal with operating in Khao Lak. Will definitely use them again if we’re back.

The Phang Nga Elephant Park is a small family-run park. Our family has cared for elephants for over 150 years and we opened the park in 2015 so that we could keep our elephants in a caring and stress-free environment and give our visitors an extraordinary and life-enhancing experience. We are dedicated to providing our elephants with the highest quality of life possible and our strong belief in human-elephant interaction is what makes the Phang Nga Elephant Park so special.
This was a truly magical experience. Jake is very caring and shows dedication and compassion with maintaining an ethical elephant sanctuary, that has been with their family for over 150 years. All the staff were very attentive, and Jake had a lot of patience with the hundreds of questions our kids asked, taking the time to answer each one. Being able to experience elephants so close was an absolute highlight of our Thailand holiday. Also great lunch in a fantastic location. Would love to return one day, many thanks to Jake and the team.

Had a lovely afternoon yesterday with Wandee. She picked us up and we had a stroll round the market, then we went to cook. Al the dishes we made were lovely and we learned a lot. Wandee speaks fantastic English and is a great host! Highly recommended if you want to experience how to cook authentic Thai dishes. ????
