Our private wellness has space inside and a garden outside. Inside you find a infraredsauna, a jacuzzi, a steambath & rainshowers and of course a lounge space. Outside the garden contains a saunabarel, a swimming pool, a large jacuzzi and a lounge space.

On Friday, I enjoyed my birthday in paradise – at the Brasschaats Badhuis where the facilities are extensive and fabulous. Lovely indoor swimming pool extending outside. Large indoor & small outdoor jacuzzi. Cold plunge baths inside and outside. Large well grassed exterior gardens dotted with comfortable loungers. Exterior exercise equipment. Outside chalet bar surrounded by trees. Interior quiet room with loungers. Excellent restaurant inside with outside terrace. Beauty treatments and massage available (we have not tried these - yet). Relaxed environment and very friendly & helpful staff. A little part of heaven on earth, a retreat to withdraw for the day, no better way to relax and recharge your batteries.

This was the first time we went back since the re-opening with the new post-corona measures. And appart from the much lower amount of people and no sauna ceremonies there's little difference with usual, appart from having to make a reservation for the jaccuzi and a couple extra hand sanitizer pumps oh and some signs between seats in sauna's and in the restaurant to keep the 1.5m distance. This was the little bit of vacation near home we needed, finally a weekend to forget the worries of the outside world. Looking forward to our next visit ^_^
