Freshly prepared. Generous quantity. Delicious.The brick pizza oven and open plan kitchen are unique and add a lot to the good vibe.Loved the chilled lighting and friendly manager as well. He obviously wants to see happy, full customers! Well done.Reasonable prices for everything, including the cold beer.Highly recommended. Next to the Iyara Hotel.

We took an overnight stop at Trat City Hotel on our way to Koh Mak. The hotel provided breakfast but we had to find somewhere for our evening meal. Not knowing the city, we were a bit unsure where to go. So we were delighted to find this modern bar and restaurant right next door. The food was good and reasonably priced, offering both Thai and Western cuisine. The service friendly and quick and there was even live music.It made for a really pleasant evening. Very much recommend.

They took our order speedily enough, but the wait for the food was long, long, long, especially given that there weren't all that many customers. Food was pretty much worth the wait, though. My Thai-style omelette with minced shrimp was outstanding and my wife's chicken with cashew nuts was very good. Like the funky décor, as well.

This restaurant/bar offers a good choice of food and drinks. The food might not look amazing but is definitely tasteful. And even if the waiters don't speak a very good English, they are really nice and attentive. Great service plus the menu is also in English. And for sport lovers, there is a TV showing games in live!

At Orchid Restaurant you will have plenty of choice, with a good selection of Thai and Western food. I used to take breakfast with nice white or brown home made bread quite often and very good it was! It is liked with the guesthouse and the friendly owner kooks herself. Each time I'm in Trat I stay and eat in Jum's place.Best Western cooking in Trat.Of the Thai selection the fried noodles with vegetables and pork was delicious and also the Curries. Should you be missing your home comforts after all that traveling abroad, there are a few unusual items like Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes or Goulash soup. I had the Wiener Schnitzel one night, and a very filling plate it was too. Pizza's are crispy and tasteful.I suppose the competition keeps the restaurants honest in terms of price and this place is by no means expensive.Thank you very much for the reviewJum Orchid

Our first night back in Thailand after travelling other parts of SE Asia for the last six weeks. Nice to be in a clean, comfortable restaurant. Service was speedy and efficient and food was good. My partner had the duck curry whilst I had the stir fry veg (his was lovely). No space for dessert sadly but can recommend the Thai dishes.

If the place looked as good as food taste it would be too expensive to enter. Nice size portions, friendly staff and your food is made when ordered and to preference on spices. It's a quiet outdoor ( no walls) place worth finding. No sign of the name in English as far as I could see- but found it anyway ( so it has to be easy to locate)

This restaurant is very very good positioning and stand on good place and good atmosphere. The decoration so nice with contemporary between Thai culture and modern style. They have 2 parts of restaurant, the private room really good for company or big family available for 10-30 people with hi-end quality sound system and big screen LED TV. Regular zone available for 50-60 people. They have a perfect food with Thai and french style, real frech crépe, good cocktail and so many wine list from france.My impression are good staffs and friendly owners "Loïc and Ant". They have a great service mind and take care everyone as them family.I recommend this restaurant on your list when you travel to Trat.JK

We asked for advice at our hotel where we could find a very good restaurant. We landed here, in a setting without heat, without service, good in Thailand that is obviously lost. Finally, we understand very quickly that it was not the very good restaurant we wanted. Indeed, a common Coffee Shop you have a lot in Thailand. With also a "little restoration" without interest. Let's move on, there is nothing to see here. Except perhaps outside, a completely redone road which is my liver completely missed! waves I tell you! Hilarious. In short, this road is in perfect harmony with this sign. To forget.Hi Yvanpolifano, my sincere apologies that the place is not up to you standard. We are aiming to try harder to provide better service and food. Thank you very much for your sincere input.Ps. about the road, it is beyond our control in perfecting its liver-juggling effect.
