We have recently moved to Narrabeen Beach and are so excited that we have such as fabulous Thai restaurant within walking distance.We have travelled extensively throughout Thailand and the food here is genuinely delicious as well as authentic.We ordered salt and pepper squid and the pad kee mao (beef) which were amazing,with fresh ingredients such as chilli fresh peppercorns. A lovely touch was the complimentary dessert which was a fabulous way to finish off a lovely casual Sunday night dinner.The decor in the restaurant is modern and the price very very reasonable...BYO and licences.Do yourself a favour,and try this gem.

The coffee is OK and the staff are OK. Service is at a reasonable speed and prices are OK but not cheap. Nothing outstandingly good or bad. Average.

Initially we had a lovely meal , even though we were "not allowed" to change the beef curry to a tofu curry on the banquet.The biggest disappointment came when we asked for the leftovers to be boxed up so we could take them away.Again we were told we were "not allowed" . None of the girls could explain why & when asked what would happen to them we were told they would be put in the bin !!?? We had paid for this food so I am not sure why they preferred to add to landfill than give it to us to take away.Hi Jane , I have responded to your email as the following;Hi JaneThank you for your feedback and letting us know these issues.Regarding to swap the dish, I will advise the staff that in this case we can be more flexible to the request for the vegetarian guests.On the no take home policy, please be advise that the all you can eat banquet is served the same way as buffet. The customers would not allowed to take home for any food beyond their consumption. We have been strictly on this policy, for many years. At the early years, when some of our staff compromise with some customers request, some customers trend to order one more round when they full, and later ask for take away boxes. In fact, we should have charged for those left over food. Handling all you can eat banquettes involves a lot of complicated works behind, from design the right margin menus where win win for both our customers and our restaurant, inventory forecast and control and staffing. At Monkey King Thai, where we always put ourselves on customersâ shoes, we hope we can continue offer our customers fresh quality food and good taste at the best value price for our local customers. Loved sitting in the back courtyard in such a relaxing setting. The delicious, fresh food was fantastic with a great variety of choices on the menu. The Thai food is interspersed with Vietnamese and Cambodian flavours. The Chicken Larb was sensational! Appreciated the friendly and efficient service. Will be back soon!

Went to this restaurant for Sunday lunch to celebrate my auntâs 96th birthday. 6 of us had a table outside with view of the water. Tried 3 entrees, 6 mains and 3 desserts. Food was excellent especially the bbq dishes. Very good value for the quality of food. Service good & we brought our own wine. Highly recommended.

Yummy food..great pricesWe got takeaway so cant speak for in dining service but we ordered over phone..order was ready the minute we stepped in .. containers were filled to the brim .. nice flavours .. real meats used .. not too much onion like other places..would definitely eat here again

I went to eat there and no idea how it would be....have lived in Thailand and eaten much thai food....only to find this little pearl by the bay in Bayview and also the decor is a sight with open large open windows looking up through Pittwater...simply delightful and relaxing must say and BYO. Food was a delicious taste and one to remember....one for the list of places for those who enjoy taste sensations. Waiters and waitresses also delightful.

Without a doubt this store makes the best pad thai on the northern beaches. I've tried almost every store between Avalon and Manly and Noot Thai wins. Every pad thai also comes with 1 prawn which is awesome.The money bags sold here are also very unique and tasty.I usually go their for dinner, the price is the standard for Thai food. The chef's are all Thai and the staff is very friendly.I've never eaten in before, but the inside is decorated very nicely.
