My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the food here! We ordered all sorts of different Lanna style dishes and all were superb. The wait staff was also attentive and the owner stopped by to make sure everything was O.K. You can tell this place is doing a good business due to the number of customers we saw there. One of the few places I actually enjoyed in Mae Hong Son.

The fern restaurant at the fern resort is ok for hotel food but very slow service and food comes in any order, I had my main course 15 minutes before anyone else then two starters came out and another main then finally my main so for a party of four no one had there food in the correct order. I had the sweet and sour chicken which was very spicy the tempura vegetable was soft and not good in the other had the fried rice was great Only one thing there was three dogs walking around the restaurant which was off putting

This restaurant was recommended to us, and we came for an evening meal. We'd already had lunch so we decided to share a meal. We ordered the Northern Thai Sausage which was mixed in with rice and spices. It was just superb, we actually wished that we'd ordered our own individual Thai sausage, as it was very tasty. I had a pleasant glass of red wine with it and hubby enjoyed a beer. Service was efficient and our waiter was friendly. Couldn't fault the place.

A little Restaurant run by Shan Family from Burma.Managing by Nang, she run this place for over 10 years in this new location. We moved here since 18 may 2010.We provide wholesome home made breads,Organic Hill Tribes Coffee and food from local produce sou
I appreciated the good brown bread and decent vegetable omelet. The 30b pot of ginger tea was a good value. Typical tourist place with slightly inflated prices right by the lake. I ordered the omelet and ginger tea. First they brought coffee which I sent back. Then they brought toast, jam, butter and tomatoes with the omelet which I had not ordered. But since it was real bread I kept it. No harm, no foul.
