Two of us had ordered a fish(big enough to share), somtam with cockles, raw prawns(must order) and seafood tom yum goong(huge portion) which only cost about 450 bahts nett. Love the raw prawns the most. Followed by the crispy fish and somtam. Whereas the tom yum goong was just decent.

Was there on a sunday night and reached there around 8 pm. Felt like a dull place as there were hardly 3-4 people. Turns out I was there too early. As the time progressed crowd gathered & the live music managed to make the place a perfect one to have a blast. There were TVs playing football, basketball and some more stuff. Not into music, fret not. You still something to capture your attention.

1. The owner can speak English and don't be shy to ask his suggestion, especially what are options for local Thai food. 2. Located in the middle of town with reasonable price. 3. Went for lunch, as it was not many people, it was a quick serving.

Don't be too disappointed if you are a repeat customer. This place is so popular such that the quality and serving of the food is not as good as before. The dishes are still okay but there are better options elsewhere.

A little outskirt from Hat Yai. Nice "hut" family run restaurant with friendly lady boss. Food is good and yummy, couple with chilled glass local beer, its a great enjoyment while visiting Hat Yai. As the restaurant is located outskirt, mosquitoes will be your company for the dinner (however, owner has prepare fans and mosquito coil).
