Tangalle (Sinhala තංගල්ල [ˈtaŋɡalːə], Tamil: தங்கல்லை) (also known as Tangalla) is a large town in Hambantota District, Southern Province, Sri Lanka, governed by an Urban Council. It is one of the largest towns in southern province. It is located 195 km (121 mi) south of Colombo and 35 km (22 mi) east of Matara. It has a mild climate, in comparison to the rest of the district, and sandy beaches.

UP drove us from Mirissa to Tangalle, organized a safari in Udawalawe park, and drove us from Tangalle to Colombo. His car was spacious, clean and comfortable, and he was a great driver. He went above and beyond when we last minute changed some travel plans and drove us late at night to the airport. The Udawalawe visit was so special, and UP's park guide was very attentive and knowledgeable. We recommend UP highly if you are looking for a driver and organizer in the Tangalle area. We were very lucky to have hired him!

We booked a cab with Senu Cabs from Dikwella to Colombo Airport. Our driver was friendly and professional. The car was comfortable and clean. I found the service online and communicated via their Whatsapp line. Booking a cab was extremely straight forward and they even sent me images of the vehicles they have available. We have been to Sri Lanka as a family 4 times now, each time we use Sam Tours for our transport. Each time we have contacted by email and been answered quickly and efficiently. Each time we've been given a modern, safe car and an excellent driver. This time around our driver Pradeep was a super star, a nice guy and a very careful driver. He took us where we wanted, arranged things that we asked for but didn't pressure us. I will definetly use Sam Tours again if I'm lucky enough to go back.
