I can recommend the the meat dishes they are of excellent quality and delicious. However, be careful with the seafood. We tried the shrimp and scallop skews and they were mediocre at best. Their choice of desserts is excellent.

Le Café du Soleil is one of the oldest restaurant in Geneva (around 400 years old), well known for serving the best fondue and delicious malakoffs. Our restaurant also offers a varied menu to satisfy everybody and daily specials for lunch made with love.
Didnât know reservation is required. Went here on a Saturday night a little after 7pm. Although the restaurant was 3/4 empty, we were told it was full. It was only our night in Geneva and my bfâs birthday. We sat on the bench across the street for half an hour looking for another place to eat and the place was still empty.

A shared meal must be a special moment, and we are committed to making your visit a unique experience. In a setting as friendly as surprising, where Lego and books of fables and recipes rub shoulders on the shelves, come and meet the friendly couple how a
We were 2 couples with varied tastes and food issues. All was catered for. Lovely presentation and delicious food. Two of us had a very unusual soup made from Fennel and olive paste with cashew-nuts.( Fenolive) The caviar-beluga (lentils with pomegranate seeds) was a delight. Variety of bread rolls freshly baked at the auberge was a pleasure too. The highlight for me was the dessert. Yummy.Hello Harscharajan,Many thanks for your kind comment, and we are very happy that you had a nice time with us.We are looking forward seeing you soon.A&P@3Coqs

My nephew who lives in Geneva brought us here and I'm glad he did. This is the first time I've ever been to "cook your own meat" kind of restaurant, but I truly enjoyed the experience. The meat selection consisted of Aged Ribeye, Shrimp and Chicken. The aged ribeye steak was particularly good. We all had a great time grilling and tasting the various sauces brought to us. The service was very attentive and friendly. This is definitely one of the most memorable meals in Geneva.

We've enjoyed several meals here after a days walking in the Alps. Lots choice on menu. The filets des perches n frites are copious as is the shrimp curry and excellent quality. Lovely avocado salade .Very pleasant and friendly service. This can't be easy when the temperature is over 38c plus.!

I have visited this restaurant with some colleagues from my company and it looks very attractive from the view from the street. When accessing the restaurant we were vey well received by a couple that I believe are the owners. We choose a fish with vegetables and fries (don´t remember the name of this meal) and it was very tasty. When visiting Vernier I strongly recommend this place. From Moevenpick hotel you can take bus line 28 to Perfumarie direction (Stop at "Vernier, école" station) and walk for some minutes.

We escaped a convention at the PalExpo and walked across the street to this highly recommended restaurant for lunch. We had the special, with included a steak, fried potatoes and salad. Wine was extra, and we had a very good Swiss Gamay. Price came to about $58 each, which is a very good value in Switzerland. I liked the stuffed grizzly bear in the foyer & the fact the chef personally met the guests as they entered.

I would recommend this for a decent steak, nice and relaxed with good and friendly service. Locals use this place mainly for the quality of the steak. Not overpriced.

The Auberge de Choully is unpretentious and pretty average. It consists of a bistro and the main restaurant, complete with wandering cat! Note for those wanting cheese fondue, this is only available in the bistro! The menu consists basically of regional and seasonal cuisine, with autumn featuring game (chasse) dishes. During the summer it is possible to sit on the terrace, with views over the vineyards and mountains.Unfortunately while the food was quite good the service was rather mediocre and the waiter unsmiling. A good choice of herbal teas is also available. For 2 people, main course, desert, a bottle of wine, coffee and tea it was 200chf. But then in Switzerland nothing is cheap!
