The Fletschhorn Restaurant is located at a clearing outside of Saas-Fee. The Restaurant in the car-free Sass-Fee is a place to enjoy and is known for its excellent cuisine. This gracious Swiss mountain Restaurant offers the charms of a country inn joined
We had a fabulous 6-hour dinner at Waldhotel Fletschhorn. We were celebrating a special event and ordered the 9-course tasting menu. At no point did we feel rushed, despite being the only customers that evening. On the contrary, the service was exemplary and the whole team made us feel welcome.David Gruss, our waiter, was friendly and knowledgeable â his wine recommendations were superb â you can trust in his experienced judgement.Markus Neff, the head chef, was attentive till the very end! He even created a desert for our celebratory event. And the food? Sublime [see attached photo of the variety and creativity].

Arvu Stuba is referred on lots of table booking sites - but I cant find a website for them
Delightful property, clean, tasteful, typically Swiss in spatial organization and presentation, great mountain and village views, great breakfast, easy check-in, helpful hotelier with suggestions and recommendations about the village, restaurants and travel. Highly recommended.

The Vieux Chalet is a cosy Valais style restaurant. It is divided in two floors, and the upper floor is suitable for groups, families and clubs up to 30 persons. Our specialities: 20 different homemade cheese fondues * Fondue fun * Raclette * Rösti * Meat
Visited the Vieux Chalet this evening, having decided we fancied fondue and seeing the great reviews and reasonable prices on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed! Opted for the Fondue Chinoise, which arrived with ample helpings of chips, rice, 6 homemade sauces and 200g of Beef and veal per person! Following the fondue we were offered the bouillon in which we had cooked the meat as a soup, with sherry or port added. Delightful. The service was friendly but not intrusive and all for 45chf per head. Great value for money.Hello "lyndamillar"Many thanks for your great evaluation. We are so happy, that you enjoyed our Fondue Chinoise and the friendly service. We really hope, to welcome you another time at our restaurant and wish you a nice and warm spring time.Best regardsFam. Our group of three was looking for a decent lunch while in Saas-Fee, and accidentally we spotted Walliserkanne and saw that their menu outside was nicely printed, hinting that also their food might be worthy. And indeed it was more than worthy, ie aesthetically nice looking and rich and balanced in taste. Besides this, the service was prompt and friendly in a natural manner. We were so pleased with this restaurant that one of us came to eat also the next day (while two of us were out of the village), and day after that we all ate there again. And every time the above-mentioned applies with the food and service. â This is clearly a real restaurant with far better options than Rösti and fondue only, plus with good service, so next time in Saas-Fee it is easier to choose where to eat: in Walliserkanne.

This restaurant remains our favourite in Saas Fee. Been many times over several years skiing. Excellent menu with Swiss and other dishes, decent gluten free choices, sensibly priced (by local standards) wine list and a great atmosphere. Interestingly, despite its very central location, most of the diners seem to be locals and Swiss, rather than international tourists and that alone tells its own tale. We love it and have booked a second time in a week.

You have to take a little hike into the forest to find your way to this lovely restaurant. One of those chalets that is dripping with charm and fits your idea of what a Swiss mountain restaurant should look like. Meal was great - pricing reasonable but portions quite large so we were actually glad to have to walk it off afterwards. Excellent selection of wines - always go for the local wines. Gets busy so budget for a bit of extra time. The little animal section is super cute for small kids and afterwards walk down and around to spot the alpacas and camel.

Warm vibe, traditional Swiss offerings. I had the grilled lamb chops and they were superb. The restaurant was packed and yet the service was attentive and personable. I can definitely recommend it to other travelers.

Du - Fondue and Raclette in Saas Fee Your host Astrid knows how to celebrate the alpine way of life, mixing the trendy and the traditional. With its sincere and down-to-earth ambiance, du is fitted with two large tables where guests can enjoy informal and
Astrid, the proprietor, seems like a lovely woman. But, needs to learn the expression " work smart, not hard." Her restaurant consists of two communal tables in one tiny room. Essentially there are only two menu choices, raclette or fondue. We opted for raclette. Presumably to save room on the communal tables, Astrid shaves the raclette for you. Our dinner turned into a farce as patrons continually waited for Astrid to replenish their cheese. I felt transported to an I Love Lucy skit.Astrid doesn't seem to appreciate that for most people, cooking and scraping the cheese themselves is the whole point of ordering raclette.Thank you for your honest review. We are sorry that your dinner did not stay in good memory. We have not received such a desire by other guests until today. Rather the opposite; our guests appreciated that the Raclette menu (as an appetizer or as "a discretion" main course) is fully prepared and served. Because people already cook for themselves at home, this is often the main reason why guests visit restaurants. And that's our way and concept of treating them. In our opinion, the Swiss Raclette cheese smells a lot better and more intensive the way we prepare it, instead of cutting it into small pieces for the guest to melt it. We know and agree that there are different ways to enjoy Raclette and again, we are sorry that we could not meet your expectations. Nevertheless, we hope that you will visit dü again. - Astrid

We ate here twice this holiday and were served delicious food in a warm friendly atmosphere. The chef comes round to check that all is well which is a nice touch. If you come at the weekend book in advance because this restaurant is popular with holiday guests and locals.
