What an incredibly special place. Not only was the service fantastic and friendly but the food was insane. We had the mushroom risotto and truffle tagliatelle on the recommendation of the waitress and she was not wrong- one of the best meals I have had since moving to Switzerland. They were so accommodating to our newborn baby and our little dog. Canât wait to go back again. I would highly recommend it. Thank you very much !It's important for us to have a feedback from our customers. We hope to see you again soon !

The involvement in the vineyards of Lavaux by the Fonjallaz family dates back to the 16th century, making it Switzerland's oldest family firm. The domain is 3 hectares, and the wines are all made on the property. The harvest of another 15 hectares from gr
After having the chance to attend a wedding there a few years ago, I decided to have my own wedding celebrated there this year ! The Clos is amazing by its emplacement, beauty and history. And of course, the stunning VIEW on the lake. But the best surprise was the kindness of the staff and the quality of the food. No need to talk about their wines - they are awesome !I will never forget that wonderful cocktail on the terrasse, the excellent dinner in the cosy red & gold room and the super party in the big ball room upstairs. I recommend their "champagne" which is absolutely delicious and for menu, we had the veal (low temperature long cooking) and it was really a delight. If you are in the area or if you're looking for a place for a special venue, don't hesitate to go there ! I'm sure I will go there again :-)

not great choice but okay. It was functional as we were staying here and had a busy say but I would have chosen to eat here otherwise

A mi-chemin entre Lausanne et Vevey, au bord du Lac Léman, au pied du vignoble de Lavaux, face aux Mémises, un havre de paix. Cuisine inspirée par les poissons du Lac et découvertes des cuisines du monde.
Lovely location but vastly overpriced for basic/simple food. Not very welcoming either.Would not recommend.

Had a very expensive banquet. Amuse Bouche was too salty. Carpaccio was absolutely outstanding. Don't normally order fish but this was quite nicely cooked. Sorbets were too much in terms of variety and quantity - my favourite was pear, least favourite citron, which was way too sour. Complimentary biscuits at the end, but I'm not a huge biscuit person. Wine recommendations were superb. Restaurant, whilst more expensive, was much calmer than the adjoining cafe. Good, friendly service.

We visited Auberge du Vigneron in the afternoon for a glass of wine after a nice walk around Lavaux. The place was not too busy, aprox 5 tables with clients drinking wine outside on the terrace, nobody inside. Two waiters. We waited 20 min to be served and nothing happened. They looked at us, passed our table 20 times without looking in our direction. After long while of waiting we left. No reaction from waiters. Awful experience in the beautiful place during almost perfect day out.

Beautifull view from our terrasse and restaurant on the Geneva Lake, alps montains and Lavaux - UNESCO wineyards! Regional and local products respecting the seasons and our environment. Nice and relaxed service just to feel like at home and spend a good t
The restaurant is located in one of the worldâs most beautiful spots which is worth a dedicated journey. Once in Lavaux Tout un Monde is one of your best options. The dining experience is however a missed opportunity to be exceptional because of spotty service. For example I had to ask three times to have the table prepared for more guests (who were yet to arrive) before it actually happened (this was over a 35 minutes period). Twice I asked for still water and twice I got sparkling. What did it for me though is that a waiter and I were destined to collide as we were both walking towards the same door and even though he had clearly seen be the waiter stepped in front of me last second and went through first. Call me old fashioned but thatâs unacceptable and itâs the basics of an acceptable training: manners. Otherwise on the positive, staff was courteous and accommodated our dietary requirements. Everyone at the table thought the food was fairly good without being exceptional.

Having now returned to the UK after spending Xmas & the New Year in Switzerland I have now calmed down sufficiently to write a review following my appalling experience lunching at the Auberge Du Raisin on Xmas Day. I will try to be brief.I was part of a family party of 11, including 2 children. I did not make the reservation but was told that the family member involved has spoken to the restaurant on several occasions prior to the visit. I understand that we were asked to pre-select a starter and main course from a menu priced at 59SF which we did. However, on arrival things had completely changed and we were presented with a take it or leave it basic no frills menu priced at 89SF. This offered choice from only two alternatives for each of three courses. To say that food served was awful is being kind. As an example one of the main course choices was what in English would probably be called beef stew. This consisted of several cubes of beef so overcooked and tough that it was virtually impossible to eat. I could go on. We ended up paying over £100 per head (this applies to the children as well) for what was a dreadful cuisine experience. What I fail to comprehend is that a well established venue like this could treat it clients with such contempt as to have the gall to serve up food that was so awful, and charge the earth for it.

he Auberge de la Gare is ideally situated at the heart of the vineyards of Lavaux and enjoys a panoramic view over Lake Geneva. The Lavaux Vineyard Terraces have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2007, in recognition of their cultural
On a sunny day, we decided to take a road trip to Montreux from Geneva. We asked Fabien our friend to recommend us a place and according to him, he heard about this restaurant while watching TV one night but he hasnât had a chance to visit. We searched the web and; Voila! Make a reservation to be sure you have seats. It is located on top of a hill in the midst of Grandvauxâs terraced vineyards. A nice drive by the way; make sure you have a good GPS. There will be a sign with an arrow. Once you cross the tracks, you will be relieved that you have found the place. It is located adjacent to the train tracks but the property is overlooking Lake of Geneva; beautiful! It is a small space and it seemed to be operated by the family who also runs the hotel with the same name.Once you are seated, the experience happens. The staff speak english so if your french is rusty, that wouldnât be a problem. The menu is basically starters, mains and dessert. As starving travelers, we tried to order a little of everything. In my opinion, it was one of our best meals in Switzerland. You must try their fresh fish caught from the lake cooked in their various styles. For some reason, the flavors were very distinct which left us in a mystical daze; really. What had just happened? A gastronomic treat. Combine it with their recommended wine just sealed the deal. We were happy cows.

We were following one of the walking routes in Lavaux which coincidentally took us past this restaurant and as the setting looked nice (- and the membership of "Chaine des Rôtisseurs" gave some assurance of standing) we decided to have a small lunch. We will certainly come back with bigger hunger another time as the ability of the kitchen was remarkable. Menu is elaborate, dishes are classics with a twist, solid in size and produce is not just super fresh but clearly chosen with a care that only a very capable chef can do. Absolutely everything was made from scratch - no short cuts. Wondering what was going on here in this little place, we read some magasines lying around and discovered that the place is in fact owned and run by Peter Hasler, a former 2 Michelin star chef, who decided to leave the star-race.What a surprise! Refreshing to get this kind of competence applied to classical cuisine.Wine list was very inspiring too, with some exciting wines of the region by the glass. This place is not cheap, but the price to quality far outperforms 90% of the restaurants in the region and prices are fully in line with median Geneva levels.Thank you for having made our Sunday!Highly recommended!
