Typical village restaurant. I've never been disappointed there, but in the hunting season it's a real treat. The order for the whole table is presented on a big platter and they serve you two helpings. The spätzli (traditional fried egg noodles, often served with venison) are the best I have had anywhere, the other trimmings all very good and the meat very tasty and perfectly grilled. The deer tortelloni were also delicious and clearly hand-made.For a quick meal, this is not the place. Take the time, you'll enjoy it.

We went here for lunch and we both opted for a beef dish. I had the médaillons and my partner chose the XLsteak. The meat was cooked according to our wishes and was tender and good. The restaurant was full (luckily I had booked a table) so was quite noisy. The service was good and quick.

We had a large group- they happily accommodated us with no reservation. We had pizzas, amazing steaks and I highly recommend the local fish. The locals eating here also engaged with us to create a really lovely atmosphere and evening.Thank you very much

I was invited to the restaurant after a business meeting. There was already a reception taking place and the entrance was full of people. This did not disturb us as we were just looking for nearby to have a quick lunch, although this would have been a little disturbing otherwise as it was necassary to pass though the area that was in use in order to enter the restaurant. The restaurant is correct, the tables are sufficiently placed apart as not to be disturbed by those nearby. The decoration is clean and more than presentable, each table had fresh orchids which makes a nice touch. We chose to eat from the Lunch Menu so I cannot go into detail about the A La Carte menu. The entree, Pana Cota was expensive but good, I had some Roast Beef which was perfect. My colleagues had the Fillet and everyone seemed quite pleased with the presentation and the dish. The service was not hurried, it would be advised to have at least 1h30 for a the Entree + Plat + Café. We chose to eat Inside and regretted to not having chosen the terrace as the backkground view over the Alpes is quite pleasant.I was very surprised to see the waiters wearing "white trainers" whilst also wearing /jackets/shirts/trousers... I can imagine it is much more comfortable for them but is does leave a little to be desired considering that this is not a cheap restaurant.I would return for a business lunch..

Tradtional but tasteful cuisine. As said in other reviews, prices are a little high, but qulity and service is always here! At lunch time, you can choose today's special which is always reasably priced. In the restaurant, you can get a full menu, with a home selection of wine by the glass for every dish you have, which is always a great selection of wine. A real nice choice to discover a wide range of wine, always from the region! We are near from la Côte, where you can find amazing white wines! The tenants are local people, and you really feel at home, welcomed. The Landlady has a wonderful "vaudois" accent, from which you know that she is from the region. I've never been disppointed by the food. They have on the menu beef tongue, which is not always easy to find. Perch filets are either from the lake (Geneva's) or from somewhere else, but you can choose if you want them from the lake or from somewhere else. From the desert menu, I recommend the chocolate mousse duo.In autumn, the venison is really worth a visit!Hope to see you there!Plenty of free parking possibilities around the auberge, but don't forget your blue disk!

From outside it looks very simple but it is actually avery good restaurant wit very attentive service. We appreciated the special carpaccio, the horse steack, the pasta with chanterelles mushrooms. Only regret: you can only choose a cheese fondue if you are on the terrace or on the bistro side (nothing smelly in the restaurant).

Traditionnal Brasserie, various dishes
As someone who travels on their own a lot one of my pet peeves is when you get tucked away in a corner as if they are trying to hide you. That is exactly what happened here. However, service was attentive, which is not always the case when that happens. Food was great. The wine list was surprisingly nice. The overall vibe was a cross between a bar and a restaurant. On a night when not too many places seemed to be open this ended up being a surprisingly good choice, seating notwithstanding.
