the Krone Hit is excellent, worth a try! staff is super friendly and they defenetly know what they are doing! their parties are full of fun and good energy.. can't wait for the Oktoberfest
Wonderful, casual dining! Mary makes the BEST fries ever and her brown sauce for the Bratwurst is simply yummy. The facilities are immaculately clean. It is a great place to eat while in Affoltern am Albis.

Modern looking motorway services that spans the autobahn between Zurich and Luzern.Has a wide ranging food court including Thai, Italian, Cafe, Grill etc..Friendly service, large portions, great food, also has a small children's play area.Everyone can have what they want at a resonable price in a nice environment. If you're travelling and need to stop, you can't go wrong.Would visit again
Lovely traditional and well maintained building and restaurant. Very pleasant, helpful, patient staff (our German is a bit rubbish - they spoke far better English!), separate children's menu and activities to keep them busy and a nice selection of italian styled food. Nice way to spend a leisurely lunchtime as a family.

Went there this July. Easy to find off the road (Bonhofstrasse) parallel to train tracks. Place was busy with guests but still had room for us under the terrace. We were adressed and seated immediately. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Food was good! Two pizzas fed three of us (with beers). Stonebaked pizza, with crust to order (if you can speak German or gesture your way to success). I had one with salami and it was delicious. It came with an included small appetizer too. Cost ranged 16-20 Swiss Francs per pizza. They had some great looking pasta too, they were around 25 Francs per dish. I would bring friends there again.

We have been looking for some alternatives to eat our beloved Cordon Bleus and found the Restaurant Krone. The service there was good, nice ambient, food tasted really great. The only negativ thing is the price - also compared to other restaurants, it seems quite expensive.

After moving to Affoltern am Albis, my family and I always wondered about Central: the restaurant was always busy on the weekends. We finally tried it out when my parents visited and were very happy with the experience.Staff was friendly and helpful (especially with a small child). Decor was a touch better than the typical Swiss style of bright lights, wood panelling, etc. That being said, it was "warm" and "cozy" and a generally a nice place to be.Dinner was traditional European fare, however the restaurant also specialises in Steak Tartar. So much, so they have an entire menu card devoted to different styles of tartar. My wife and parents went for warm food, which looked nice (albeit I didn't taste it). My tartar was to die for: fresh, lots of flavour, and a nice solid spicy kick.Prices were above average for a Swiss night out, with the total meal (including some drinks) of well over CHF 300. Nonetheless, it was a very nice experience and I would happily go back.
