Det är inget fel på det här stället. Om det nu inte kostade nästan 300 kr för en varmrätt. En sådan meny förpliktigar. Och det lever inte brasseriet upp till. Det här är en helt ok restaurang, men inte alla värt resan.

This rustic cafe in Bunge, opposite the open air museum, does the best saffron pancakes - freshly made and warm, with those local red berries (salmbar?) and whipped cream. If you are going to try saffron pancakes whilst on Gotland I recommend you have them here. The cafe also does various filled rolls which looked good, and I wish we'd stayed there for lunch, as we found nothing in Farosund. The museum opposite is excellent too, and it's well worth spending an hour or two there.

Countryside café with a garden, lovely interior design shop, flowers & plants. Perfect place for a day out with the family! Open all year.

Nu har vi varit förbi några gånger. Ligger inte på de mest välbesökta områdena på Gotland men har lockat ändå. Vi har fikat och handlat loppis när det fanns
7. Ett Litet Creperie

Enkelt creperie med goda crepes och galetter. Ligger på en skyddad plats omgärdad med häckar. Gott om bra sittplatser, finns leksaker för barnen och en liten boulebana. Bra prisnivå. Oas bortom turistträngseln. Parkering som hör till restaurangen finns. Tvärs över vägen kan du dessutom köpa honung i en liten gårdsbutik.

We were visiting Farosund with friends. After getting off the ferry and being hungry, we saw this little cafe on the corner of the street. It is small and all the tables were full, both inside & out. We figured this must be a good place to grab a bite. It certainly was. All the food is fresh made & the breads are fantastic. The place is a bit eclectic, which made it more enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and happy to help. The quality and the size of the servings are well worth the price.

Provade kafet för första gången med cykelgänget. Positivt för trevligt bemötande, god saffranspannkaka och att de hjälpte till att fylla våra vattenflaskor. Negativt för mackorna där brödet såg ut som hamburgerbröd (jag provade inte själv, men knorr från gruppen) samt de ganska höga priserna.

We stopped in to the Lergrav fisk and cafe on a blustery cold day and found it vary warm and welcoming. As their name suggests they sell fish and specialise in fish and other seafood cafe style. I had an excellent prawn sandwich with home made mustard sauce, a very generous portion too. Others had some local smoked fish which was also very good. The cafe has a genuine homestyle traditional feel with two indoor areas (perfect for a rainy day) with outdoor dining right beside the water (a great sopt on a nice sunny day) and directly opposite the Lergrav rauk field. Great location, very good food and reasonably priced, thoroughly recommend stopping here for lunch or fika if you find yourself in this area of Gotland.

Pretty spot in Slite! We were there to do some cycling and look at the famous quarry. This was a great laid back spot which was of course a nicer, more service-centric place than the nearby pizza place or thai place. Didn't need reservations, very acceptable food.

A magical little spot directly on the ocean with live music playing several times a week. Wonderful staff, wide open space for children to run around. Adorable place to spend the night and enjoy breakfast in the morning at the restaurant with the charming hostess Alexandra. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

The hotel is on the marina, the rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable. They also have cabins but we stayed in the hotel. The rooms have patios that overlook the marina and front porches with nice big rocking chairs. The Sjökrogen offers fantastic meals with friendly service. We tried a number of dishes during our stay and the Piggvar with Truffle sauce was one of the best meals I have tasted so the next night I ordered the hällefloundra with the same truffle sauce pictured here. We will certainly return.
