The parking directly outside is always full but there is more parking space behind the house when you have passed the main house. It is not a restaurant more like a Café with homemade ice-cream and pancakes. I ate a "SkogsvÃ¥ffla" (forrest waffle) with horseradish-icecream and air-dried deer meat (like italian parma ham). It was so good! It is a very nice place in the summer and cozy in the winter. They also have a little shop with marmelades and other crafts produced in the near area. From the E6 follow the signs to #Ãskhults by# and you will find it on your left side.

Actually nothing to complain about. Service tries really hard to be professional but during "rush Hour" (friday & saturday evening) a little bit distracted. Food over average with fine details.

Went there twice with my daughter and young grandson for the set lunch and very good it was. Order inside, clever alarm token to advise when the meal is ready to collect from the counter - the fish soup with add-ons and salad very filling and tasty, another time salmon and pasta or a much better than expected salad Nicoise, again with salmon but no egg or anchovies. All preceded by a salad buffet and fresh bread with whipped butter, use two plates if you are really hungry. Coffee included. We ate outside in the sunny terrace alongside the square with little one happy to sleep in his buggy. A lovely relaxed lunch spot.

This really is what Kungsbacka has been needing for a number of years! An excellent new restaurant with a great scandinaviam menu. The decor and service was outstanding and we had a truly memorable meal. My wife and l shared the bread and pate starter and then chose pork confit and pear and blue cheese dishes which were beautifully presented and tasted incredible. There is an excellent wine selection and we finished with a chocolate moose and almond cake dessert respectively. Highly recommended!

No doubt, this would have received 5 stars had we arrived earlier - before food items ran out. We spent a week on the coast ( Onsala) and traveled daily to Kungsbacka to shop ( groceries and wine) and sample the restaurants. We read about Storgatan on Trip Advisor and wandered around town until we found it. So glad we did, Thanks to a lovely young couple arriving shortly after we did ( who saw us in the entrance hall - looking confused), they shifted from speaking in Swedish to perfect Engish. Storgatan was crowded yet these thoughtful people made us feel welcome and comfortable in this restaurant. They took us inside Storgatan and introduced us to the owner, who welcomed us....in perfect English, explained the lunch routine, menu items, and prepared a place for us to sit. We enjoyed delicious cheeses, breads, fish chowder, and an interesting entree ( a meat hash with a fried egg on top). Although many items quickly disappeared from the buffet table, we had more than enough to sample. Because we were leaving for Kalmar in the morning, we were unable to try this wonderful restaurant again. You do not want to miss eating here.... But....Be sure to go early!!!
