We visited White Wasabi on a Sunday for lunch. The lunch specials are great. We both ordered the specials. The sashimi and nigiri are amazing. On a whim, we tried the Asylum roll. Fresh, spicy, sweet... simply amazing.

i think you'll find it with the information i provided. it's a GREAT restaurant and they are on facebook too...if you'd like to find them there.
We go here frequently, as it is in our neighborhood. Always good food and service. They have no problem with us (seniors) sharing a Bento Box meal.

It has been a few years since we came in and the food was still consistent and enjoyable. Prices are also fair. Staff is not friendly whatsoever.... not sure why! The remodel is nice with more comfortable seating and relaxed dining area. New salmon poke bowl was very good.

3 months later and still no change, I guess there's no corporate interest in these reviews. The server should wear plastic gloves if it's the same person that runs the register. And the server should be trained how to carry a bowl without fingering the food.

We found parking close by on busy Main Street, a good start. We almost missed the restaurant entrance because of the low key signage fronting this new Seal Beach sushi restaurant near the Pier. The inside was pleasantly bright, clean, and felt authentically Japanese: an encouraging sign. The owner/chef seemed very friendly. We ordered the bento lunches with add-ons. The Shrimp Tempura and Crispy Calamari Ring were both light and tasty. Both Teriyaki and Sesame Chicken served in the Orchid Bento Boxes were solid. Likewise the Teriyaki Salmon was good and well portioned. However the quality of the Sashimi and Chirashi were quite average and not as extraordinarily fresh and flavorful as others raved about in reviews. Perhaps because we had lunch on a weekday; and that we had built up too high of an expectation. We will definitely be back to have dinner at the counter.

We met family here to celebrate Christmas and enjoy good food. Our chef was very entertaining and the food was prepared well. Every now and then it's fun to do tepan as one can usually talk across the cooking surface and enjoy food too. The steak was cooked to order, shrimp was done fine, some ordered lobster which was underdone a bit. Overall it's a bit pricey for what you get but OK.

Welcome to Mahe Restaurant in Seal Beach. Our atmosphere is cool, casual and comfortable. Our amazing kitchen and sushi chefs create a most unique dining experience. Come in and see what weâre all about - we promise you won't be disappointed. Due to limit
Very good but a little swanky for our taste. You have to use valet to park. The sushi was decent but definitely tailored to American taste. Salmon was overly sweet. Roast chicken was wonderful.

The Boathouse on the Bay is a steak and seafood restaurant situated on Alamitos Bay in Long Beach and serves an array of fresh seafood, steak, sushi, sashimi, oysters and cocktails.
Great food, great service, go at happy hour and enjoy great service. $10 drink specials including wine. The presentation of $10 appetizers were great, especially the crispy calamari strips and caramelized brussel sprouts. We also had a cup of clam chowder that was perfect! Nice, efficient staff.

Restaurant Koi is a family-owned Japanese Restaurant in Seal Beach, California. Koi has been making authentic sushi and Japanese cuisine under the same ownership for over thirty years.
My kids love sushi so we came here and ordered some California rolls, and the Oregon Roll. Both were very good! I ended up getting the Teriyaki Beef (which is a steak) and it was perfectly Medium-rare and the teriyaki dipping sauce was delicious! We also got the vegetable Tempura- yum! We brought our 4 kids (9 and under) and 2 of them are very picky and I think we downed that entire meal! So good! Definitely worth the price, but the main thing i want to comment on is the staff- my clumsy child ended up spilling his sprite all over the table/floor and the staff immediately stepped in to help clean it up and it was so cute because he came back with my sons drink refllied- this time with plastic wrapped around the top with the straw stuck in it! LOL we thought this was hilarious! He also brought us hot towel rolled up like sushi on a sushi plate for future messes! HAHA! It was great- it cheered us up and took our embarrassment away. Loved that :)
