Let me be clear that this is a high class restaurant and definitely not a cheap dinner but the food is authentic and simply excellent. We were a group of ten adults and a couple of children and had so many dishes. The kobe beef sukiyaki had melt in your mouth tender beef, the sashimi was delicious. We shared all the dishes and therefore got to try everything. I saw some of the prices when ordering so can only imagine what the total bill would have been. But our hosts are old friends who are very wealthy so it probably wasn't much for them. But we're eternally grateful for their generosity!

Weâre in the neighborhood... Dining monthly at least twice... In our area, this resto is arguably the lead of the pack.Defined regular Japanese clientele is a good weather vane of culinary levels.Tonight... sashimi moriawase tage, fried oysters and bento dish featuring fried fish.As expected of this regular spot and why we come back

The restaurant proved to be the ideal venue for the get together with my visiting classmates from abroad who were mostly billeted in the area. Service was efficient though the food was just average and price on the high end. Anyway, the cost was commensurate to the ideal location, ambiance and prompt service of its personnel who good-naturedly assisted in taking group photos of the occasion.. .

This was place recommended by a friend who also lived in Japan... I guess we did not order the right food. Was quite disappointing but probably ok for lowered expectations. We only ordered the Moriawase sashimi, sushi platters and some agedashi tofu and potato salad. The servings were quite big,so reasonable in a sense. However, from a quality stand point, the food was poor to average: Iâd say the best was the agedashi tofu and that the dashi sauce was good and tofu was soft and cooked well. There are other chains with better version though. The sashimi was disappointing. The serving size of uni was big and the taste was ok, not bad. So was the tuna. However, the salmon was pathetic. I think it was frozen salmon and thawed. Very bland taste. The sushi was similar and the rice was so-so.Potato salad was of good size serving. But far from a good Japanese potato salad. Maybe not enough Japanese mayo? For P100, canât complain much.Net, very average to mediocre Japanese food at affordable prices.

Our fourth visit in 2 months...Last night, our staple Scallop Sushi which was sublime... the duck, soft shell crab and unagi sushi less so... Gyoza was ok.On the whole, 3-4 on the rating.

In terms of food quality, Seryna doesn't disappoint. We ordered the kaisen gozen, sashimi gozen, and sukiyaki gozen, and the quality was consistently excellent. The ambiance was also great, albeit not fit for people who see poorly in low light. The service, however, left something to be desired. There was a server standing by the menu stack who seemed to be daydreaming and wouldn't respond. A simple request such as water refill took much longer than it had to.

The Vikings were great warriors who once ruled the seven seas. They are known for their colossal ships, fierce spirit and their extravagant way of life. They believed that the world was theirs for the taking and would regularly hold grand feasts that woul
We had a way better dining experience here than at MOA. The food variety and selection were wider, and taste better. Comparing our experience with Vikings MOA, which was really disapointing, here in Jazz, the oysters, salmon sashimi, and shrimp tempura were replenished every 5 minutes. They don't run out of steak and the beverage selections were many - they even have milktea. Even the beer didn't run out. The kids enjoyed the desserts. The sesame ice cream was a different experience too. The crew were also very friendly and efficient. Our overall experience makes this our favorite Vikings branch, next to NIU.

I had my birthday celebration with my close friends at Umu. Three of us just visited Japan separately 3weeks ago. Umu is always on my list for the best Japanese Restaurant in Makati. Our Chicken and Tuna Teppanyaki were both cooked perfectly, just the way we want it. The thin slices and tenderness of the Beef Gyudon with Itâs sweet sauce brought us all backIn Tokyo. The taste is very Japanese, authentically crafted! Ms. Abigail ensure our comfort and satisfaction while having our dinner, asking our group often howâs everything. Maui is always my favorite server. Being a frequent dinner Maui and her team was able to serve us and delivered excellent dining service while inside we are in Umu. Beautiful and appetising ambiance. Interiors are very Japanese too. Great food and excellent service resulted a beautiful birthday celebration that will always be remembered. Thank you Umu. Thank you Dusit Thani Manila
