We opted for the lesser restaurant owned by the Michelin star family of restaurants in Modica. It was a perfect lunch spot... understated, reasonable but appetizing menu, and fun atmosphere overlooking the city and filled with sounds of music from Liza Minnelli to the Beatles. The restaurant was recommended by the owner of an herb farm in Scilcli. He was right! We began with a peasant salad filled with small tomatoes, croutons, capers, black olives, cucumbers, etc. the bread came packaged in a small brown bag â warm and delicious! And the olive oil and oregano and chili to accompany the bread melted on the bread. My main dish was pasta and tomatoes and pistachios..... I will restrain from telling you about the cannoli so that the restaurant does not get too popular.

We offer a traditional, genuine cuisine, with local and italian dishes. Only home-made pasta of ancient sicilian wheats and zero mile ingredients.
This is a small seafood restaurant right in front of a beautiful Catholic Church. The food was good, but not great. However the location and the view was well worth the experience. The service was a little slow, but passable if you are not in a hurry. I had pasta with seafood that was tasty but a touch over cooked. The shrimp were cooked to mush and the pasta was a little overdone. For a second course I had the Italian sausage. The sausage was well prepared and very tasty.

A friend who is a cookbook writer said that Putia del Coppo makes the best fried fish in the entire world and she might just be right. The whole fried fish, shrimp and rings of calamari were perfect. Ditto the fried vegetables. As side dishes, the couscous salad and pannelle were also very good. This is a wonderful place in Modica, not far from the Teatro Garibaldi and highly recommended.

Enoteca Rewine born from the passion of its owner, Baldo Casamichiela, for wine. The long family tradition in the wine sector and the curriculum Baldo led to a broad understanding of the industry, who want to share with all people with the same passion. T
We had a great time in this enoteca. We got to discover lots of sicilian products. The person working there really took the time to explain us where every product was coming from. He was very nice and you could tell that he wanted us to try as many things as possible. We tasted some great wines from different regions. We ordered a big player, which included :Home-made bread, Cheeses with marmelade, Sausages, bruschetta with different topings, olives, nuts.In the end, he even gave us a taste of Modica chocolate and sweet Sicilian wine for free. This is a quiet place and I would definitely go back if I am in the area.Thank you! It was a pleasure to introduce you to all of our local products! Se you soon!!
