EXCELLENT What an amazing experience - every time!!!It surely is in my top 10 list of restaurants and I always go when I am in Japan. I can not decide which dish is my favorite, I loved them all from abalone to Kobe beef. What I enjoyed most was the way the chef grilled the garlic :-)

A hundred-year-old zelkova beam and a mosaic wall. The restaurant, with its array of Japanese and Western antique furniture, has an atmosphere where art-nouveau and Japanese style meet, and it is just like a museum. Not only does the counter feature a hot
It was our first time here at Ginza Ukai-Tei and the restaurant was just lovely from the beginning to the end. The entrance was amazing with a nice red carpet and fun decorations. Since our party has eight people, we were given a private table. They usually required everyone to order the same course in this table but gave us an exception since we had a number of elderly family members. Both menus are excellent and of course the more expensive dinner course features better quality ingredients like truffles, blue lobster, and better beef. The dessert is the same - Christmas strawberry cake. LIke many high class teppanyaki restaurant, you went to a different section/room for dessert. I highly recommend Ukai-Tei and will definitely return in the future.

For you USA tourists, this is over the top. This is Benihana on steroids. Overall experience including the quality of the food is over the top. Great owners. Squeezed half our party in without reservation. Great food. Great experience. Must visit in Japan.

I just finished my meal here and I have to say the steaks (and service) are amazing! Our waiter explained the pricing and options right at the beginning and showed us our cuts before they were prepared. The Kobe beef was out of my price range this time around (~32g for $479), but the wagyu did not disappoint at all. My boyfriend and I shared the sirloin and tenderloin with the gratin and garlic rice sides. The meat was so flavorful we didnât even need the sauces that were available. Overall, we would definitely recommend :)

In spite of the excellent reviews we read, this restaurant even exceeded our already high expectations. The staff took very good care of us from beginning to end and, whilst preparing our meat in front of our eyes, would also explain the history and traditions behind the dish. The meat was absolutely excellent (and we are quite demanding when it comes to meat), and the whole experience felt more like dining in a beautiful Japanese home than at a restaurant.Do not miss the green tea mousse with vanilla ice cream as desert either, itâs outstanding. We can not recommend Ikuta highly enough and will definitely be back when we next travel to Tokyo.

Very enjoyable 90 minutes of A5 grade beef which you cook on a grill in the middle of the table, also a free flow of ala carte sides (you must finish it before ordering something else, to avoid wastage, which makes sense), and 1 dessert, rounded off with friendly and efficient service. Reservations highly recommended.

This place was so friendly and had such an inviting atmosphere. We sat at the bar table in front of the kitchen whilst the entertaining chefs laughed and joked with all the patrons. The food was incredible and we ate to excess. The standout end of the meal was the Hotteok, the crispy Korean pancake. I cant recommend this place enough!!! Only sad that its my last night here and I cant do this again tomorrow night!!
Foodies all over the world crave grade A5 Kobe or Wagyu beef. They use the terms interchangeably for the juicy, mouthwatering marbled beef exported from Japan. The only problem is that most havenât even had the authentic Kobe beef. As an example, there are only nine restaurants in the entire USA that serve authentic Kobe beef.At Kobe Steak Ishida Ginza Honten, you can experience authentic Kobe beef, BMS 11 or 12. It is tender, burst in your mouth flavorful intermingling of well-marbled fat and meat, it does not require any seasoning as it is prepared in the restaurantâs original extra virgin olive oil mix. Kobe beef served at Ishida is incontrovertibly preeminent compared to A5 Wagyu I have enjoyed at other establishments. It is the real deal. It was well beyond my expectations. The appetizers, consisting of tasting portions of delicacies in season, with plating that was pleasing to the eye were delicious. The salad that followed consisted of locally sourced fresh produced, arranged artfully. This was followed with the first round of Kobe beef. We were offered a selection of sauces, but the chef recommended that we try it without any first. We were certainly pleased that we complied. This was followed by a round of roasted vegetables, also locally sourced. The sautéed mushroom with a dab of extra virgin olive oil melted in my mouth. This was followed by our second round of Kobe beef.We finished off with dinner with garlic fried rice and pickled cucumbers. The meal was sumptuous, but there is always room for dessert and coffee. What a wonderful and memorable evening! At the end of the meal, we were quite satisfied. Felt extremely comfortable, not the unhealthy feeling you get from overeating. Appropriate portioning is a new measure in rating dining establishments for me and Ishida has certainly passed.Wine list is extensive with a good selection of wines by the glass for the light drinker. The servers were attentive to inquire of any dietary restrictions prior to serving. They were very courteous in describing each item being served throughout the evening.I give Kobe Steak Ishida Ginza Honten my highest accolade and rating. A special thank you to Mr. Tsuji, our Chef for the evening. He was very knowledgeable, sociable, and made our evening very special.

Teppan - yaki Toyo is a long - established iron - platinum shop in Nihonbashi which lasts 60 years. We offer visionary Japanese beef "Ozaki beef", Miyazaki beef and Awa beef at reasonable prices. In addition, it boasts dishes such as abalone directly ship
We visited the Mitsukoshi departmental store and walked down a quaint street with old-style Japanese shops across the street. There was a delicious smell of grilled meats and we followed our noses to this eatery. It was mostly locals having their Saturday lunch and we were lucky to snag a table. We ordered the skirt steak and striploin steak sets. The eatery is relatively small, and built along a long narrow room so diners can see the two Teppanyaki chefs at work. One mostly does the meats, while the other cooks the bean sprouts that form the base of each dish. The food itself tasted as good as it smelled and the striploin was soft and almost buttery and went nicely with the salad and rice. The skirt steak was a little tougher but still delicious. It is a quaint restaurant and the owners seem to be fans of Elvis and the 60s and 70s as songs from those eras were playing during the meal and provided a suitable backdrop. The staff were north of 50 years and were friendly yet polite with their regulars.
