a. Texas de Brazil, is a Brazilian steakhouse, or churrascaria, that features endless servings of ï¬ame-grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken, and Brazilian sausage as well as an extravagant salad area with a wide array of seasonal chef-crafted items.
I went there with my girlfriend from Dallas for lunch. A diverse upscale soup and salad bar for starters. Then we turned our fichas to green and the gauchos started servicing the meat--with cut the meat to our plates. The service was very personable. The food was awesome. The salad selections were great and the meats were amazing and cooked to perfection. The meat service is a Brazilian churrascaria (flamed--grilled beef, pork, lamb and chicken). We were so full at the end of our meal, that we ordered our desserts to be packed so we an eat them later. The price was quite pricey-- the lunch is $45.99 w/o drinks. The lunch is 24.99 w/o drinks--on their website. They are open Monday thru Thursday from 5 PM to 9:30 PM on Friday and Saturday, they are open to 10 PM.

We have been following John Tazarâs career since he was on Top Chef the first time. Always rooted for him no matter what. We were excited to try his Knife Steakhouse last night and came away very disappointed! Appetizer of Lamb meatballs were awful! No depth of flavor in the soggy meatballs or the weird tomato sauce. The steak was under seasoned and have had more tender at home. Unimpressed by the aging. The worst dessert Iâve ever ordered in an upscale restaurant - banana pana cotta - dry and tasteless. Drink prices were high as well. Missteps in service. Wonât go back. Sorry, John.

The Keg Steakhouse & Bar serves the finest cuts of succulent steak, aged for tenderness and grilled to perfection. Prime rib is a Keg specialty, slow roasted, hand carved and perfectly seasoned with special Keg spices. The restaurant also serves delicious
After several attempts at finding a consistently good steakhouse we found the Keg a few years ago. We have had great service, great food and a friendly atmosphere time after time. This time was no different. We usually prefer to sit in the bar area....it's cozy and has nice atmosphere as it's a smaller room, however, were seated in the main dining room tonight. No problem, just another good experience in a different room. When we were served our meal we both noticed our vegetables were warm at best although the steak was hot. Understandable as the steak was probably the last item placed on the plate. We let the server know and he immediately got a manager to return our meals and replace with hot items. She was very apologetic. The meal was once again wonderful and even though there was a slight slip up, it was handled very quickly and satisfactorily. The staff from start to finish was friendly, happy and efficient. We will return !!

Saltgrass is a popular casual steak house throughout Texas with a cowboy motiff. Tables and booths with televisions located throughout the restaurant, however, they are not loud. Extensive menu of steaks (naturally, it's Texas), fish, salads, sandwiches and burgers. Generous portions. Our group of 3 had the Memphis Hot Chicken sandwich which was VERY good, salmon and small sirloin steak were also delicious and well prepared. Steak was perfectly done, lean and very tender. Good dinner salad, perfect fries. Nice wines, beers and cocktails. Service was friendly, quite efficient and the price was very fair. Plenty of parking.

I was there from about 6 oâclock in the evening when it was fairly quiet. Was able to look around the dining rooms with one of the staff as each one is themed whether it be golf, horseracing or their boardroom. The bone-in ribeye steak was just gorgeous and the carrot well, that was cooked perfectly, sounds bizarre but it was great! Highly recommended. Great staff.. thank you Cesar, who looked after me the evening. Car parking very close...

Located in North Dallas, III Forks serves the ultimate in Texas French cuisine. III Forks is a restaurant that has recreated the grandiose lifestyle experienced by Texans who believed that fine dining was a perfect combination of great food, great service
I wanted to like this place. It has a lot of charm. But when you walk in and sot down at your table ....you cant help to notice the water stain ceilings or the dirty linen walls. The tables are antiquated and poor condition. I was hoping that the food would make up for the lack of ambience like the appetizer .. nope.. or the steak ... it was âmeh.â I said I really wanted to like this place but when you look at its serious competition Like Nick and Samâs and Del Frisco III Forks need a major makeover and a renovation... For the money you might as well go to Dunstin steak house itâs cheaper in the foods is probably just as average.Thank you for dining with us and for your review. I'm sorry that the ambiance was not outstanding and that your meal was not exceptional. I'd like to look into this further for you. May I please have the name used for your reservation?

Attentive, knowledgable and respectful servers in a cleanly designed space puts diners in a positive mood. Picanha sirloin could have done with more fat trimmed - which allowed me to try their other meats which were excellent. Bartender's Old Fashion with the special ice cubes worth a try and Caipirinhas were very well made. Simple, well priced, wine menu. Sign of good management to see the staff partaking of the food at the end of their shifts.

As it's been a hot minute since I've written a review for one of our favorite places, here I go...We were in last Friday and had the Copper River Salmon, which is a personal favorite! All I can say is: WOW!! It and the evening salad special that night were a true hit! It was one of the most enjoyable meals we've had!I'd be remiss not to mention the excellent service we receive EACH AND EVERY time we're here! When they say "you're family", they actually mean it! The service is by far some of the best we've encountered and it's consistent, as well! Management is on-site and hands-on! I believe that makes all the difference! If you're looking for a truly lovely dining experience, please give Chamberlain's Chop House a try. If it's been a "hot minute" since you've been in, why? We'll see ya Friday!

We celebrated my husbandâs 60th birthday at the Capital Grille, Plano. It was idilic from the moment we walked in. We ate earlier because of our 16 month old granddaughter, so the restaurant was still quiet. Their wait staff made us feel like we were the only table in the place. I called ahead of time to let them know about my husbandâs birthday and they helped me plan a very nice evening, from a champagne toast to start the night, to a dessert at the end to celebrate his special day. As for our dinner, it was a step above! I had the sea bass with fried capers, it was so moist and buttery. My husband had the beef tenderloin, poached in butter and topped with fresh lobster, it was decadent and so delicious! Our daughter and son in lawâs meals were also prepared perfectly. We tried three side dishes to share, garlic mashed potatoes, sautéed mushrooms and lobster Mac and cheese. They were all fantastic, but the lobster Mac and cheese was our favorite! Coming from a small community in central Nebraska we were blown away with how the Capital Grille catered to us and made us feel so pampered. Especially my husband, he felt very honored to celebrate the big 60 at the Capital Grille, Plano. Thank you so much for your fantastic food and impeccable service! We will definitely be back!

One of the few independent family-run steakhouses left in America. A place for every occasion in the heart of North Texas. Located just east of N. Central Expwy. (Hwy. 75) on the George Bush Turnpike. Large wrap-around bar area with fireplace surrounded b
The place is good size, we took over the function room. The service was better than average. The fixed menu may have been the downfall, but, the steak, a filet was under-cooked. Around the edges it was not tender. Just a strange cut, and it had a bland flavor. The portions were very small. The pecan / chocolate ice cream was very good.Overall a good experience but steak needs addressing at the price point.
