Gustavino Bisteccheria Fiorentina is of one of the most successfull restaurant pizzeria in Florence. It is located a few steps from Duomo, in Via Dei Servi, and settled in a strategic position. The elegant environments are cared for in the smallest detail
Great food and great staff. Our meal was wonderful, my ravioli with fresh black truffles was excellent. Dessert and digestivo were equally good. This was such a pleasant experience especially after a truly crappy lunch at a tourist trap. The ambiance was pleasant and we were very pleased with how helpful the waitstaff were throughout our meal. We have one day left in Florence and have decided to return for our last night.Thank you very much for your review from all the staff of Gustavino Duomo

Our first night in Florence and chose this restaurant from the reviews. In typical Florence style it was a small place but nicely turned out. We had starters and main course, including the steak as recommended, a bottle of wine and a beer. Thank goodness we had pre-booked taking advantage of the 50% discount. The bill was â¬90 after discount. The steak was 'ok' according to my husband but we felt it wasn't worth the large price. Waiters were satisfactory and polite. Would I return? There are so many other places to try.Thank you for your review from the staff of Bisteccheria Santa Croce

New re-opening scheduled for March 2018 of the historic Florentine restaurant. Typical Tuscany food in center of Florence.
Our rental owner recommended this restaurant. We were welcomed by the owner who is a neighbour and friend of Elena, our host. The Mandriarno red wine was lovely and the pasta with roe deer sauce was delicious but the pork cube dish I ordered was â¬20 of mainly fat, maximum 20 per cent pork and that was disappointing and I left a pile of fat on my plate. The waitress looked at it and did not ask why or if it had been nice!!!as wasThe Tiramisu the waitress strongly recommended was the worst ever.We visit Italy all the time and love Tiramisu but this was really dreadful. We only ordered one but she brought 2 and that was â¬12 wasted as it was a hard biscuit with cream only and a sprinkling of chocolate. Really awful.

An experience in Tuscan food and wine, in a historic location, in the heart of Florence...since 1962
We first heard about Oliviero through the glowing review of Bon Appetit magazine and came to Florence and tried it. It was wonderful! We came back in 2018, and the restaurant was closed. We are back now, in September 2019, and it has re-opened with a bit of a new decor. Dinner tonight was a disappointment. We ordered an appetizer shrimp/calamari salad which arrived as the main course was served. We were constantly "up sold"- no, this steak is better at 1.6 kg even though we wanted 1 kg. No, this wine has bot been taken off the menu, so we dont have any, but we have a better one at 20 euros more. We were never served our wine, we had to pour for ourselves. Our old plates were not replaced, in fact, they wanted to serve our steak in the shrimp salad plates. Our "medium" steak was barely cooked, in fact it was blue and cold. The asparagus were overcooked but the roast potatoes were delicious. We barely finished our last bite and were offered the dessert menu. I think that the most telling aspect of this whole evening was that there were no Italians in the restaurant, just tourists. That says it all, doesnt it? We liked it then, but we will never return. We encourage you to move on to the many other, better, restaurants that Florence has to offer.

Located in the heart of the city, on a super touristic street. We were a little reticent to enter thinking that it may be a tourist trap and a rip off. But not at all. Their pici pasta dish and specialty pizza were very good. Avoid Ceaser salad. It's doused in mayo. Friendly service, too.

Visit the first Brunelleschi Palazzo, in the hearth of Florence, and experience a Gourmet's lounge with a flavour of contemporary art. Open from 12.00 To 15.00 and from 19.00 to 23.00 , lunch and dinner. You can teste our traditional and creative cousine.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this charming restaurant. The staff was friendly and answered all of our gazillion wine questions. Many reviewers praised the Angels and Demons gnocchi, and we loved it. It was delicious and I would recommend ordering it.The Caccio e Pepe was one of the best I've ever tasted. I opted to get it without truffles because I personally find the scent of truffles overwhelming. It was fantastic. The restaurant is only a few blocks away from where many tourists dine but it's definitely worth a visit.

La Boheme Restaurant & Cafe is a new Restaurant in the center in Florence with Italian Cuisine and typical Mediterranean Cuisine. La Boheme is a cuisine at the research and experimentation of new taste and new flavors.
Followed the ratings in Trip Advisor, made reservations, but was disappointed with average food, nothing special. Would not go back. Service was good, though, and the recommended wine was better than the food.Dear customer, we are sorry if your Bohème experience was not positive. We thank you in any case for having expressed a good judgment on our staff and I hope that in the future we can give a second chance.

The Vetreria Boutique Restaurant in Florence will follow a new gastronomic concept in a boutique of flavors ..
We booked reservations figuring it would be very crowded on a Friday night considering the rating of the restaurant. We probably didn't need reservations. Our meal was good but not outstanding. We both had the pasta carbonara which was good, but I've had better in Italy at many locations. Perhaps it was not their specialty as the steak seems to be what they are best known for. The prices are reasonable. The waitstaff was good, but the African woman was particularly excellent. With so many choices in Tuscany, we won't be coming again.

Run by young locals who grew up in the meat industry, these guys are passionate about their food and it shows in the way they present and deliver their menu. The food itself is absolutely delicious, particularly the meats. The waiter is knowledgeable and assists you in pairing wines with the meal. All in all, an amazing experience, away from the tourist traps, highly recommend!
