Recommend the app. You can claim your place in line before leaving home. Hot Springs has Coltonâs, Outback, and Longhorn. TX Road House is the newest chain in town. Thereâs not a lot of difference in flavor, quality or quantity, but Coltonâs has more specials followed by Outback. My 10 oz NY Strip was delicious but very salty. In a nutshell, between the four steak houses in town, Outback would be my first choice. TX Road House is a fun place w occasional dances, and you will most likely enjoy your dining experience.

In 1996, a group of entrepreneurs and restaurateurs put together their combined total of over sixty years of successful restaurant and real estate experience to develop a concept that later became Colton's Steak House & Grill. Their vision was to open a s
Decided to visit a steakhouse other than Outback. We were both disappointed in this dinner. Our Chicken Fried Steak & Sirloin steak were both average, but when you add that both plates of food were lukewarm, the meal overall was a disappointment. Caesar salad seemed a bit limp. The baked sweet potato was very tasty, but again, not hot. We were already too hungry to send everything back to the kitchen.

They have a good full menu. The problem was consistency. My very expensive steak was ordered Medium, arrived very well done, no response from our server. My wife had crab cakes, the best she had ever had. The side dishes were all bearly room temperature. Beautiful building, locally owned and operated. Really heard so different reviews.

This restaurant was one of Hot Springs' best, then management changed, and it went downhill. management changed again, and things improved, and now we seem to be back at square one...they are currently "between proprietors" again... My neighbor and I went for lunch after not eating there for a mont or so, due to poor service... they seem to change their entire staff ever week or so... no kidding... We had a 20 minute wait to get a table at the now half empty restaurant... they had had yet another mass walkout of staff and had only two servers working the noon rush... We watched 4 groups come in, wait and leave ... My neighbor wanted to stay, so we did,and boy were we in for a rude awakening.. this chain has been voted the steakhouse with the best steaks in America..So how does the head office respond? . Corporate hired a new head chef, who changed the nationally acclaimed recipe into something so heavily spiced it was downright inedible... heavilly garlicked and peppered... couldn't taste the meat... just awful...Why in the world would corporate decided to change a recipe that was voted number one in America??? That is stupidity on a downright Herculean level...We will not be back there again, after having eaten lunch at Outback almost every Friday for years... If you like a long wait to not be seated at a nearly empty restaurant, and horrible overly seasoned meat served by a profoundly unhappy staff, this is the place for you. I have no idea of what is going on vis a vie the treatment of the staff by management, but clearly something is terribly wrong...Judging by the stupidity of changing a nationally acclaimed recipe, it might be a corporate problem of not knowing how to treat their employees...but they need to do something...Perhaps a going out of business sale? None of the other restaurants in Hot Springs have this kind of staffing problems. By my count, this is the 12th complete turnover of wait staff for them since January. and food that is not fit to feed your dog. It used to be the best place to go for a nice steak... Not any more... Sad... .

Everything about this place is top-notch! The atmosphere is extremely inviting. Beautiful place. The first time we went, we had the oysters...absolutely delicious. The wine choices are extensive and quite excellent. We then went upstairs and listened to great music by the Typsy Gypsy. We enjoyed it So much we went back the next night for a Hours in Filet, wonderfully cooked to perfection. Absolutely delicious! The service was superior from the entire staff beginning with the valet and continuing throughout the entire visit. A great experience!

Something was really off when we went for lunch @ LongHorn. There may have been a staffing problem as nothing seemed coordinated. It took awhile to get drinks and when our soups arrived they were all cold. The waitress didn't come back to check on us, so we sat there with only our lame salads, nothing else, and the kids were getting fidgety. The waitress acted very short and stressed as though she didn't want to be there. It took 20 more minutes to get hot soup. By this time the other food arrived but the rhythm of service was so off we didn't enjoy our lunch at all. Our waitress was nowhere to be found for drink refills or to bring us our check so we could leave, therefore, we had to go to the reception area and request a check from the hostess. We waited another 10 minutes before finally getting the bill. By this time I was just plain pissed. There are plenty of other quality dining choices in Hot Springs such as OSAKA Japanese restaurant...so sorry we didn't go there instead!!! Won't make that mistake again...

Back Porch Grill is the premiere steakhouse located on beautiful Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, Arkansas. We serve certified Angus beef grilled on an open pit before your eyes, as well as exceptional seafood selections, chicken dishes and pastas in handmad
Dark, Dingy, Expensive, tasteless. I hate it when the server says "Sure" when you ask if you can sub a veg for the baked potato, without saying there is an Upcharge. Who charges more for a few green beans instead of baked potato? I've just paid $30 for the steak and there were no bread or crackers offered either. Oh, and she didn't say the "loaded" baked potato was a dollar more too when she asked if we wanted that. Won't go back.

Hot Springs own Bone's ChopHouse offering premium in house cut steaks, fresh seafood, and full service bar with a great selection of wines. With over 100 years combined experience in the restaurant and food industry, and a Chef inspired menu offering bold
Having made a reservation, I'd say a good idea after this place had been given a good review in the paper the day before, we were seated immediately in a very crowded, reasonably new restaurant. After beverage orders, and skipping appetizers, we ordered4 Ceasar salads and entrees (ala carte) of a 12 oz. Ribeye (they offer 12 & 16 oz.) and mashed potatoes, the Ozark pork chop, and two Great Lakes Walleyes, one grilled and one fried. I dont recall the other sides but I, like an idiot, ordered the Brussels Sprouts simply because they had been given such a rave review in the paper. They were horrible. They stank and tasted as though they had been rolled in salt. I put the dish aside rather than complaining. My wife tasted it - she likes salty dishes agreed that they were way over salted. Other than that everyone enjoyed the dinner. The service was excellent. Self parking can be a problem on busier days but they offer valet parking to resolve that. Being a "chophouse" they offer a nice selection of steaks but they also offer a variety of other choices: chicken, quail, fish, shrimp and a number of entree additions and side dishes. They also offer a nice variety of appetizers, soups and salads - I don't remember desserts. I'd recommend going when you're very hungry so that you can take advantage many of the options that we skipped. I'd avoid the Brussels Sprouts. (The asparagus was also raved about in the review but I'd probably skip that too in liew of potatoes (fried, mashed or baked) or some "tamer" side dish with your entree.Check their menu for all the options. I think it's basically a great restaurant - too bad I chose the Brussels Sprouts against my better judgement. ;)

Came in with a large group for dinner and the staff was awesome and very accommodating. The managed the table very well and were very pleasant to have serve us. Food was ok, but not the level of greatness. I had the prime rib and my other half the salmon with Oscar sauce. Both dishes looked good and tasted fine, but just wasn't at the level of taste we were looking for. The salads were not all that fresh either.Nevertheless, the overall experience was good and the staff made it happen. We thank you for choosing The Porterhouse. The 2 entrees you mentioned are extremely popular and receive numerous compliments. I will certainly share your comment with our Chef so that we can ensure an enjoyable experience for the next guest as well as yourself should you choose to return to The Porterhouse.. Thank you again.

Family owned Italian fine dining restaurant that serves pasta, chicken, veal, seafood, lamb and beef dishes cooked on the spot, by order, with prime meat, fresh and best quality ingredients.
I got a very high recommendation for Via Roma on Yelp, so we decided to try it. My companion always eats steak, so he ordered the ribeye. I asked the waiter for his suggestion between shrimp scampi, a chicken dish or filet, and without hesitation, he said their steaks were the best. My filet had a gristle going down the middle of it, and I order the filet to stat away from that because I enjoy very lean beef. My partner's steak told the tale, though. I have never seen him not finish a steak, and he couldn't even eat half of his ribeye, because it was so tough. The restaurant was so dark, the waiter pulled a flashlight out of his pocket for us to see the bill. On top of this, there were several very loud groups in the restaurant. With a bill of $120+ for an appetizer, two steak entrees and waters to drink, plus other factors, I will not return to Via Roma, and cannot recommend it.
