Yuscaloisa Spur is situated in the brand new Springs mall. It is extremely beautiful design , and all amenities are spankin new making them top of the class.The big screen tvs area ideal for watching any events. A big kiddies play area and many other retail stores right next door. Situated at the main entranc 4 to the mall access is very easy. We went here because everything else was closed. Not at all impressed- the food is typical High fat greasy pub food. The crumbs on the mushrooms are southern fried chicken coating. Ok- I get that but if you want mushrooms not southern fried chicken! Schnitzel totally inedible.

We had dinner here with our family from South Africa. Restaurant is situated in a mall. Nice and friendly staff and clean. There was enough choice and food was very good with friendly service. For smokers they have special area were you can smoke so you don't have to get out of the restaurant.Dear Berend d,Thank you so much your amazing review of Santa Cruz Spur Family Restaurant. I have been going to Costa's (aka Gold Nugget) for over 40 years. Same venue, same foods, same hand-written tabs, same décor - even the Christmas decorations are the same each year. The food and service is just as consistent - absolutely brilliant. You are made to feel extremely welcome by Costa and his attentive waitrons. On a personal level I regard his Steak to be one of the best internationally. Steak like you've never tasted before; Garlic Snails which, I have gathered over the years, contains a dash of sambuka; and Seafood - from a simple plate of fish and chips to an enormous Seafood Platter consisting of you-name-it-it's-on-the-plate. Kingklip thermidor is also one of my favourites.

We hadn't been to Carnival City in a while but decided to try this new restaurant. It was very quiet so were a little concerned about the food and service. well, we were seen to immediately and had good service all night. Food was excellent even though a little pricey. Well presented and very good.

Took a drive out to Springs for our regular Sunday carvery and found something quite spectacular. Fresh, funky and still the same incredible service, these guys have raised the bar. On a recent visit to Gauteng, we decided to spend a day at Carnaval City. After a lovely morning spoiling our granddaughter with endless fun, we went on the search for a restaurant to suppress the hunger pains...then we saw a SPUR.It was lunchtime and the restaurant was very busy. We asked to be seated near the restaurantâs childrenâs playground. We placed our drinks and food orders as we watch our granddaughter enjoying endless fun at the playground.Surprisingly we did not have too long a wait for our food to arrive. Our food was prepared exactly as what you would expect from a SPUR. Our waiter was friendly and kept an eye on our table.A lovely restaurant that served SPUR standard meals and met the challenge of getting the meals out on time despite being very busy.Hi Willem,Thank you so much for your review.
